Now, here’s something we bet you didn’t know! Apart from being a valued member of our crew at Birds n All we also have a star basketball player.

Jewel who plays basketball when not at work with us, is captain of the Cockburn Cougars whose team has just won the West Australian NBL1 championship.

Jewel is now off to Canberra to compete in the National Championships and we wish her and her team the very best in representing W.A.

We have some young Eclectus babies being hand reared at present and not long before they are weaned and ready to go to their new homes.
They make great pets and are known for their “talking” ability.

Update on our little Digger who turns 1 week today and thriving.
At hatching he weighed 21.3g and today weighs 50.3g and now being fed every 4 hours.
Our next post shows his little voracious appetite 😀

We extend a warm welcome to our new arrival today and aptly named “Digger” as not only is he WA naso Red Tail Black Cockatoo but also hatched on ANZAC day. Hatch weight was 21.3g and doing well.
