The carotid arteries are major pathways supplying blood to the brain, travelling through a complex landscape of muscles, fascia, joints, and nerves in the neck.

When head and neck posture shifts — such as in a forward head position — it can increase muscular load and tension in surrounding tissues. Over time, this may contribute to strain, reduced movement efficiency, and increased demands on the body’s regulatory systems.

From a Bowen Therapy perspective, the focus isn’t on forcing posture correction, but on supporting balance across the whole system.

Gentle input, strategic pauses, and attention to global patterns may help the body reduce unnecessary effort and reorganise itself more efficiently.

While it seems that the season has only just finished, we all know it’s not that long until we all get the horses back in.
Make sure they start off feeling their best, and get them booked in for a couple of treatments and fix any nagging injuries/strains carrying over .

Very exciting today to meet the very first Bavarian Mountain Hound to come to Australia .
Brent and Gina’s beautiful girl was a delight to treat, just to make sure she’s at her best after the huge trip from Finland .

When you get feedback like this from a client , it makes your week to know you e helped an old boy feel much better ❤️

S**t I wish I had of got a video of ££££ yesterday afternoon. Tail down head down aimlessly shuffling in circles with the only interruption was the occasional yelp and me thinking €€€€ Ive killed him. Made up an orthopaedic bed with complementary small blanket in a trolley and kissed him goodbye.

To not hearing a sound all night and greeted by a big smile out of trolley tail up matched outside in a bouncy trot to go to toilet. What a game changer you have in those hands. The gift of life to an old boy. Thank you ❤️

Make the time to get yourself treated .
We all get our animals done, but keep “soldiering on “ ourselves .
Stop ! Get yourself treated whether that be Bowen’s, massage, or something else , but do t ignore the niggling warning signs
