New country… same standards when it comes to what I feed and recommend 🐾🇳🇿

Spotted on the shelves at .co.nz in Auckland and I had to share this.

They’ve just launched the full range here in New Zealand, for both dogs and cats, with options across dry, wet, grain-free and whole grain. It’s still new to stores but already getting a lot of attention.

What I love is how easy they’ve made it, you can grab it in store or have it delivered straight to your door through Pet Direct.

Good nutrition isn’t just a “nice to have”… it’s one of the biggest foundations for your pet’s health, wherever you are in the world 🤍

Call me biased, but I genuinely think dogs are one of the most incredible creatures on earth.

The loyalty, the companionship, the joy they bring, the way they can make a terrible day better just by existing.

I’ve loved many dogs throughout my life, and Frankie is no exception.

I will happily spend the rest of my life telling anyone who’ll listen just how remarkable dogs really are. 🐾

One of my favourite things ever is when people send me photos with my book, Gross Things Animals Eat

Whether you bought it for your kids, your class, your friends, your nieces and nephews, or even yourself… it honestly means so much to me.

Seeing it out in the wild has been the coolest feeling ever, so please keep sending me your photos. I love every single one.

Thank you for supporting me. Stay tuned for the next book

The reality of owning a dog that sheds?

Your clothes are furry. Your floor is furry. Your coffee… probably furry too. 😅

But it’s not always this bad (thank god!!) and regular brushing really helps. It removes loose hair, prevents matting, spreads natural oils through the coat, and lets you keep an eye out for skin issues early.

So yes… it’s messy.

But it’s also part of keeping your dog healthy, comfortable, and feeling their best. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade the extra vacuuming for anything.

If your pet is constantly scratching, it’s not something to brush off…

Fleas are one of the most common things I see — and the biggest mistake?
People only treat them when they see them.

By then… you’re already behind.

Here’s what actually matters:
• Consistent, vet-recommended prevention (all year round)
• Keeping an eye out for early signs like scratching, biting or “flea dirt”
• Understanding that some pets are allergic, which makes everything feel 10x worse for them

And while cleaning your home helps, prevention is always your strongest defence.

Healthy skin starts from the inside too — which is why I’m big on high-quality nutrition as part of the bigger picture.
