For most dogs, nail trims are the most hated part of grooming — but it doesn’t have to be that way. 🐾✂️

✨ If you’ve got a puppy: start early. Make paw handling and the sound of clippers a normal, calm part of life.

🐕 If your dog’s older: it’s not too late! Take it slow, use rewards, and build trust again — one paw at a time.
And if they’re really anxious, chat to your vet. There are options to help make it safe and stress-free for both of you.

Because grooming should never feel like a battle — it’s just another way to care for the ones we love. 💛

It’s so true, every dog marks a season of our life. 🐾

They’re there through the chaos, the calm, and every moment in between.
Each one teaches us something different about love, loyalty, and letting go.

If you’ve ever loved a dog, you’ll feel this one deep.

Share it far and wide for all the hearts who understand. 💛

Overweight pets face a higher risk of diabetes, joint issues, heart conditions, and even cancer. But there’s so much we can do to keep them healthy:

✔️ Feed high-quality, balanced food (and measure portions!)
✔️ Don’t leave food out all day and keep treats in check
✔️ Choose lean training treats like carrot sticks
✔️ Walk your dog daily or twice a day if appropriate
✔️ Play with your cat to keep them moving!
✔️ Weigh them regularly and aim for slow, steady changes (1–2% weight loss per week is ideal)

🏥 Your vet team can help you track progress and tweak as needed.

Let’s keep our pets happy, mobile, and thriving for years to come 💛

Accidents happen and when they do, your quick response can make all the difference.

Here’s what to remember if your pet ever gets injured:
🩸 Apply gentle pressure to stop bleeding
🚫 Skip the harsh chemicals on open wounds, use sterile saline instead
🏥 Always visit your vet to check for hidden injuries

Small wounds can just be the tip of the iceberg. Acting fast can significantly reduce your pets discomfort and maybe even save their life.

👩🏼‍⚕️Friends! Here’s why you shouldn’t skip ear cleaning:

🦠 It prevents infections
🫶🏼 Manages wax and moisture build-up
🐾 Reduces irritation and painful inflammation before it starts
🌊 It’s essential for dogs that swim or have floppy ears

What to use:
✅ Always choose a vet-approved ear cleaner, not baby wipes, coconut oil or water!
✅ Gently apply the cleaner into the ear canal, massage the base of the ear, let them have a head shake!
✅ Wipe away the debris with a soft gauze or cotton pad, never cotton buds!

💚 Healthy ears, healthy dog.

Can Dogs Eat Cheese?

Yes, in moderation! Cheese can be a tasty, high-value training reward and a sneaky way to hide medication. It’s packed with protein, calcium, vitamin A, and essential fatty acids.

But not all cheese is created equal! Some dogs are lactose intolerant, and cheese can be high in fat, calories, and sodium. Always avoid flavoured cheeses (like garlic or onion) and steer clear of blue cheese, which can be toxic.

👉Safer options: Cottage cheese, mozzarella, or small amounts of cheddar or Swiss.

go Keep it occasional and portion-controlled for a happy, healthy pup!
