Australia was Varroa Mite free for 200 years... That's no longer our reality 😔

Varroa has been around for a couple years now and our hives have now caught it 🫠

What does this mean for the future of honey and beeswax production? Possibly increased costs or less honey and beeswax but time will tell. We have been incredibly lucky over the past 200 years so now we manage it and hope for the best 🤷🏼‍♀️
