Want to hear about what fascinated you in the video?

With a Handstripping seminar coming up.. I recorded a video (hyperlapse) on what it looks like to strip the whole side of a Bassett Fauve De Bretagne.

Have you got a little wire coated dog? Heard about the need for handstripping, but have little idea on how to do it?
Learn from an expert in the field and join others learning the joy and satisfaction of being able to groom your own dog.

This event is a big day, a 6.5 hour seminar broken up by a 30 minute lunch break supplied by us. Snacks and drinks to have at your leisure during the day.
You will learn:

and
Craft
An interactive event where we encourage questions and challenges. We hope you have a fun day, full of laughs and learning.

Grooming service

Handstripping

This is a process where the coat is plucked or carded. This labour intensive groom, ideally removes a layer of coat, which will grow back and be more colourful. Some coats require a maximum 4 week schedule where other breeds can be stripped up to a maximum of every 6 months.

For the best finish for the dogs coat though, it is recommended to never go over 3 months maximum for all wire coated coats.

Due to the variance of grooms, from now on, the 'Sizing' of your dog is just for reference in our system.

All Handstripping will be charged at a flat hourly rate of $130.00 per hour
