🔥 STALLIONS FLYING IN NZ 🔥

Yabby Dam Farms stallions produced the goods in New Zealand on Friday (April 24).

Face Time Bourbon Fra broke new ground as Timoko Fra and Bold Eagle Fra also had winners.

YDF’s Australian-bred 2yo Duke Of Bourbon (out of outstanding racemare Dance Craze) gave Face Time Bourbon his first winner with Southern Hemisphere-bred offspring.

Duke of Bourbon saluted at his second race start in an IRT Young Guns 2yo Trot Prelude at Alexandra Park.

Australian-bred 4yo Tetrick (Timoko) had his fifth career success at Addington Raceway and Kyvalley Ray NZ (Bold Eagle) landed another feature win in the listed NZ Harness Million 3yo Trot at Alexandra Park.

ON A STREAK is on the cusp of having his first win from his first crop.

Chief Kenny has had two starts for two seconds in a NSW 2yo Trotters Foundation heats at Menangle.

The c**t is one of just three starters On A Streak has had to date.

Face Time Bourbon 2yo c**t DUKE OF BOURBON has has had his first win in an IRT YOUNG GUNS 2YO TROT PRELUDE at Alexandra Park in New Zealand on Friday night.

Bred by Yabby Dam Farms out of outstanding mare Dance Craze, Face Time Bourbon finished the better to salute by a neck.

The Barry Purdon/Scott Phelan-trained youngster was having his second race start.

Duke of Bourbon is the first winner out of Dance Craze from two foals to race and first Southern Hemisphere-bred foal by the French-based Face Time Bourbon, which is part of the YDF stallion roster, to race and win.

Face Time Bourbon was sold for $240,000 at the 2025 NZ Bloodstock yearling sale at Karaka.

Timoko Fra 4yo🥇TETRICK has notched up his fourth New Zealand victory.

The Yabby Dam Farms-bred Tetrick saluted in the REMEMBERING COLIN BERRY HANDICAP at Addington, coming off the joint back mark of 15m and hitting the line with two lengths to spare.

LUVAVICI (Orlando Vici Fra) provided a quinella for YDF roster stallions.

Tetrick is the only progeny of Timoko to race in NZ, having started his career as a winner in Australia. Timoko has had four starters in Australia for three individual winners.

A real mix of Yabby Dam Farms roster stallions hit the mark with winners across Australasia in the past week.

Used To Me Fra was joined by Quaker Jet Fra, Love You Fra, Orlando Vici Fra, Bold Eagle Fra and En Solitaire provided variety.

Love You, Used To Me and Quaker Jet all sit in the top 10 on the Australian trotting sires list for winners this season.

Stockman Pete (Used To Me) landed his second South Australian country cup at Port Pirie on Saturday night (April 18).

In NZ, Bold Eagle 2yo c**t Apollo Eleven is unbeaten after two starts.

QUAKER Jet looks to have produced another smart filly.

Jilliby Aura scored first-up as a 3yo at Bendigo on Saturday night.

She’s now won three of nine including a listed race, in addition to two group 1 thirds.

Stockman Peter, a 7yo by Used To Me, came off 20m to salute in the PORT PIRIE TROTTERS CUP on Saturday night.

He’s now gone back-to-back, having taken out the Strathalbyn Trotters Cup at Globe Derby Park.

North American champion trotting sire Walner Ca went to unprecedented heights at the Melbourne Nutrien Equine yearling sale at Oaklands Junction on Sunday.

He produced the top three priced lots across the board.

A filly out of outstanding racemare Dance Craze fetched a record-breaking $250,000.

This surpassed the $220,000 paid for a Ready Cash Fra-Amour de Frere NZ filly last year.

Both were bred by Yabby Dam Farms, which also Walner has part of its stallion roster.

While the Dance Craze filly topped the sale, a Walner-Aldebaran Tobbe c**t attracted $180,000 and Walner-Arboe NZ filly was sold for $150,000.

Walner has been a revelation at Australasian yearling sales this year.

He also topped the two New Zealand Bloodstock sales in February.

A Walner-Destinee Jenilou filly attracted the biggest price of $220,000 at Karaka (ahead of a Walner-Hopeful Beauty Fra c**t $150,000) and a Walner-Egee Money Fra filly a record-breaking $290,000 at Christchurch.

In a sale dominated by trotters on Sunday, another YDF overseas-based stallion Orlando Vici Fra had a c**t out of Aleppo Jewell sell for $130,000.

World-class Yabby Dam Farms stallion Walner will have four progeny on offer at the Nutrien Equine Melbourne Yearling Sale on Sunday, 12 April 2026.

He comes off the back of a standout sales season, highlighted by a record result at the Christchurch Yearling Sale, where a trotting filly out of Egee Money sold for $NZ290,000 for Yabby Dam Farms.

At Karaka, a Walner filly out of Destinee Jenilou (FRA) also made a strong impression, topping the sale at $NZ220,000.
