I just have to brag about Orange Collar girl 🐶🧡.
Yesterday her last sibling headed off to his new home in QLD, leaving her on her own 🥹. She, however, has been nothing short of incredible! Not a single whine or complaint. She happily takes herself off with a toy and relaxes while I work, then comes over for cuddles and play when I’m free. She has that beautiful balance of being independent but still so loving and affectionate. And then there was last night… her first night completely alone, which is usually a big thing for a puppy. She handled it perfectly. We had a play, did last wees, and then it was bedtime. I tucked her into her crate (she is being crate trained), gave her a few pats, and she simply settled herself and went to sleep 😴 . I didn’t hear a single peep until 6am, when she gave the softest little whine to let me know she was awake. We went out for toilet, then back inside, where she curled up in my room and slept again until 8am. No accidents, no fuss! She is an absolute dream pup. I’m completely in love 😍.
