Job Title: Full-Time Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck Driver

Overview: Browns Sawdust & Shavings is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) truck driver to join our team. The role involves safe, reliable transport of sawdust/shavings to customers and sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy rigid truck(s) to deliver/collect sawdust, shavings, and related materials
• Load and secure cargo safely; assist with loading/unloading when required
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
• Plan routes and adhere to schedules and delivery windows
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logbooks and electronic records
• Comply with all road safety, transport and workplace health & safety regulations
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, yard staff and customers
Requirements:
• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence (or local equivalent)
• Proven experience driving heavy rigid trucks, preferably in agricultural/wood products or bulk materials
• Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment driving/medical checks
• Competent with securing loads with roll over tarps.
• Good time-management, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Physically able to handle manual tasks and work outdoors in varied weather
• Knowledge of load restraint and WHS regulations
Desirable:
• Frontend loader ticket or experience operating yard equipment
• Experience with walking floor bodies required
Hours & Pay:
• Full-time, daytime roster (some early starts or plenty of overtime available)
• Competitive pay based on experience; entitlements per local employment laws
