We will not be at the markets tomorrow as we are enjoying a break, but the markets are still on and you can support the other local farmers there. We will be back on the 19th.

We love the rain here on the farm. The only issue is the cherry tomatoes which had been blushing perfectly have split due to the extra water. We have graded very heavily but apologise if there is the odd marked one in the punnets tomorrow.

Happy new year everyone!
Although we have been working on the farm the last few weeks tomorrow will be the first market of the year.
The frosts in November and December, as well as the hail we copped on the farm NYE have delayed some of the crops, the warm weather always helps.
Tomorrow we will have butterhead lettuce, in addition to the oak and cos.
Butterhead is like a soft leaf iceberg, great in salads, burgers and san Choy bao.
There will be fresh beetroot bunches and if you look carefully there will be some yellow zucchinis and edible nasturtiums in the salad mixes.
