🐾 Meet Harley, our handsome Cavoodle surgery patient from today.

Harley had a benign tumour called a Meibomian gland adenoma on his eyelid. This was causing irritation to the eye, known as scleritis. The best course of action was to surgically remove it. Thanks to Dr Ben and nurse Chloe, the tumour has been removed successfully and Harley is doing well in his recovery 🐶

Doesn't Harley look so cute in his Elizabethan collar? These cones are very important in protecting the sutures on his eye during his recovery ❤️‍🩹

🐾 Morgan’s Story – A Snuffling, Sneezing Cat in Need 🐾

When Morgan’s mum noticed she wasn’t her usual self—snuffling, sneezing, refusing food, and lacking energy—she knew something was seriously wrong. With limited funds but a heart full of love, she turned to the compassionate vets at The Gables at Monash, hoping for a way to ease Morgan’s discomfort. 💔🐱

Recognizing the urgency of Morgan’s condition, The Gables reached out to ACT Pet Crisis Support to see if we could assist with her care. Thanks to the Petstock Foundation and generous community support, we were able to help cover the cost of her hospital stay, blood tests, IV fluids, and essential medications—allowing treatment to begin immediately. 🏥💉

One of the suspected culprits? Cat Flu—a highly contagious condition that requires urgent veterinary attention. It can be especially dangerous for young kittens and senior cats with underlying health conditions. Thankfully, it’s preventable with regular vaccinations, starting in kittenhood and continuing annually for life. 🩺💛

Morgan is now on the mend, and her mum is beyond grateful for the support that made her treatment possible. This is why we do what we do—to ensure that pets in crisis get the care they need, no matter their owner’s financial situation.
