We recommend waiting until after the first ❄️frost, as this reduces ongoing exposure to bot flies.

Bot eggs 🥚 are commonly seen as small yellow specks on the legs and shoulders, which are licked off and ingested. The larvae then develop in the mouth and stomach. This time of year we see them often during dentals with our oral camera (see video). Mature larvae will eventually pass out in the manure, continuing the lifecycle.

Treating at the right time helps break this cycle and improves effectiveness of your worming program.
