Dakiri is a lovely personable youngster, and is easy to catch, tie, wash, rug, float, good for the farrier etc. She has worn all of the gear without any fuss and had a few preps of work aligned with her age.

He has been well handled since birth, had lots of outings, easy to float, wash, rug, trim, dental etc
And has worn all the gear, is mouthed, works in hand, lunges and long reins, and lines up at the mounting block etc.

He will be super easy to bring on undersaddle as he matures and is a very keen willing partner 🤩

I will still be teaching from Boorcan, and available to teach at Little River also.
New clients - $75 per lesson.

Hosting more work shops with demos, discussions and guided session with your horse.
$35 demo/discussion, $75 with your horse.

Limited training spaces available; foundational & further education undersaddle (no starting/breaking in) and can discuss young horse handling and preparations.
New clients - $350 per week, plus hay & hardfeeding according to individual horse.
Access to farrier, dentist, body worker etc.

Some one rein and two rein driving/long reining work with Lilibet and her human 💛

A process I work through with all of the starting horses, as a part of the mouthing, so they understand the feeling of the bridle for riding

It is also a really great tool for horses already undersaddle at any stage in their education to teach them more about the bridle; flexion, bend, and direction - how we are asking for a shape through the horse holding the same line, and how we are asking for a change in the line where the feet need to follow.
A great way to practise coming from bend to straight, straight to bend, staying through in transitions and feeling the horses body through the bridle connection.

And then being able to take that exact same feel to rhe saddle where we can also use the seat and leg aids in what we might be asking.

Everything we do has a purpose and is a step in the progression, the same ideas in the ground work, in the lunging, in the long reining, for undersaddle.

Beautiful Nera developing over the months 🤎

The trip to South West Vic, and settling in, took its toll on her - she absolutely loves spending time with people though, which made it a pleasure to work with her on the ground and undersaddle, to build her up again.

It was so nice to see them getting to know each other some more over the weekend.
It is an always an option with purchase (or payment plan) to have the horse stay on, on agistment, part/full training, and to come and work with the horse with me!

2yo warlander c**t having his first prep of work with me - he has been beautifully handled which makes these next steps flow really well!
We’ve been playing in hand on his posture, being able to stand relaxed and calm, but attentive and ready. Balancing the forwards, backwards, sideways. And fine tuning his following of the energy, intentions and body language.
He’s been wearing the bridle without working from it to get familiar with it, and was a super star for his first session with the roller on, and introducing a feel on the bit whilst still connected to the halter.
It’s important they learn to move around in all gaits without associating higher energy with higher emotions, or an increasing heart rate with increasing tensions.
So whilst I’m not keen to do a lot of lunge work at this age, I will move him around enough to check (and no more than he’d likely play in the paddock anyway) to check that if the energy / gaits increase up that he can let me help him manage his emotions.
And then onto the long reins for some steady low impact work where we can keep it slow and do more straight lines.
