Russell’s Story 🐾

At just one day old, Russell was found alone and being pecked at by crows. Brought into our care in a very fragile state, he needed around-the-clock attention to give him a fighting chance.

One of our nurses stepped in, bottle-feeding, caring for, and raising him as her own. Fast forward a few months, and little Russell is thriving! 💙

Today, he’s back at the clinic for his desexing procedure. Watching him grow into a happy, healthy boy has been incredibly special, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come.

From rescue to routine surgery, Russell’s journey is a reminder of the amazing difference a little love and dedication can make. 🐱✨

We’re excited to now offer rhinoscopy procedures with our new internal medicine specialist, Dr Matteo.

Rhinoscopy allows detailed examination of the nasal passages and upper airway, helping us diagnose causes of chronic sneezing, nasal discharge, suspected foreign bodies, and other respiratory conditions more accurately and minimally invasively.

Dr Matteo is now available for internal medicine consultations and advanced diagnostic and procedural work, supporting more complex cases in-house and improving access to specialist-level care for our patients- including outpatient ultrasounds for referring veterinarians.

🎣 Tucker’s fishing adventure didn’t quite go to plan…

After swallowing a fish hook, Tucker found himself in need of emergency surgery to remove the dangerous foreign body. Thankfully, our team was able to safely retrieve the hook and get him back on the road to recovery.

Fish hooks can cause serious damage to the mouth, throat, stomach and intestines, so if you suspect your pet has swallowed one, seek veterinary attention immediately.

We’re happy to report Tucker is healing well and looking forward to sticking to dog treats instead of fishing gear! 🐾💙
