How to Modify Shoe Measurements?

All Terraflex™ Horseshoes are designed for universal application, seamlessly fitting both front and rear hooves. Their versatile shape allows for easy trimming of any excess material without compromising hoof support or affecting nailing options.
When measuring your horse's hooves for length and width, if your measurements differ slightly from those on our sizing chart, select the closest size. If your shoe width is perfect but the length is short, consider moving up to the next size. Conversely, if the length is ideal but the width feels snug, opting for the next size up will also be advantageous.

How to Measure the Hoof?

To measure the hoof accurately, take measurements right after trimming, focusing on the widest and longest points with a measuring tape. For untrimmed or shod hooves, remember to account for the 5 to 7 mm expected to be trimmed. The width is especially important, as shoes often have extra length that can be adjusted accordingly.
