From the 1960s to 2001, Nocka was a name that echoed through bush tracks across Queensland. A true all-rounder, he trained champions, won Cups (including 2 Birdsville, Mackay, and Townsville), and always had top jockeys riding his horses.

More than a trainer, he was a bush vet, farrier, and conditioner with an uncanny eye for a good horse, and a toolkit of homemade remedies that worked like magic.

A jock of all trades and a legend in every sense. 🐴💪

Following a fantastic ride to win the first race at Mackay Erin Molloy took a nasty tumble off Divine Okay. Erin has been taken to hospital for assessment. Early reports suggest possible elbow injury.
