Wishing a joyous birthday to my beloved Maddison, who's now 13 years old! She lovingly guards the door with Harrison, often greeting with enthusiastic barks, although sometimes they're perfectly behaved. 💓 As she grows older, it's a reminder that life can be challenging physically, and memory bubbles can pop up, but her sweet and beautiful spirit remains unwavering.

We celebrated this special day with a delightful Doggo cake crafted by Leah Roar Gourmet Pet Treats, pouring love and dedication into every detail (check the pics to see how adorable and learn how to order treats for your fur kids).

Maddison's daily mornings are made brighter with sharing toast with me, so I knew just what to get for her special day - an egg on toast birthday cake that stole the show. Amazing! Thank you, Leah, for being truly exceptional.

It's been hot and humid, if doggos visited beach, creek even swimming pool, please give a good wash to rinsed out all sand, dirt or chemicals and dry and brush out. Skin can be sensitive especially paws.

Thank you all my clients. It's filling up very fast in February appointment space. I am one on one groomer and a sole groomer from meeting greeting till see you again at my place as you know.

I love my job — but I want to be honest about what it really involves.

Dog grooming is not “playing with cute dogs all day.” It’s long hours on my feet, lifting and supporting dogs of all sizes, bending and twisting repeatedly, using my hands, wrists, shoulders, and back nonstop to groom safely and correctly.

Over time — especially during busy periods like Christmas the physical strain adds up. Back pain, sore joints, exhaustion, and burnout are very real in this industry. Many groomers don’t make it long-term due to injury.

Many groomers develop:
* carpal tunnel / tendonitis
* chronic back or shoulder pain
* grip weakness
* migraines or neck issues
And I had a right thumb infection due to dog hairs got into under the skin to blood vessels ended up open thumb surgery twice in a year...but healed👍

This is why my appointments are limited, policies are in place, and realistic expectations are so important.

I’m incredibly grateful for every client who trusts me with their doggos — I just hope this helps give a little insight into the work behind the scenes 🤍

When you go to obedience class, dogs learn "sit", "drop", "stay" and more commands however as a groomer, I want to dog to stand up while grooming.
It's ok to sit down or relaxing but some stage, I need " stand up" dog on the table.
Please teach your doggos special word "STAND".

It gotta be another wonderful year for everyone. Stay happy and beautiful both hooman and doggos.

January bookings are almost full, I can take bookings late January to February if you need me soon.

This kind of weather cause sore paws, itchy skin, ear infection, all sort of unwanted worries.

Home care is very important. please check pawpads- no grass seeds? dump hairs cause itchy or pain?.
Try to use corn flour or potato flour or baby powder to soak wetness to keep dry and fresh paws. Put a heaps of white stuff on paws, let it suck wet paws then just brushing off. Easy to find grass seeds as well.
I use this technique at dog shows when my dogs paws wet before showing. It works.

Check ears- not blocking by ear gunks?, not smelly? Using good quality ear cleaner to clean , don't forget to wipe off excess ear cleaner or gunks from ears.

Grass allergy is so common. Please check belly, legs and paws if scratching or licking.

When I do have your doggos, I check everything and if anything concerning, I let you know.

I am having a little break to be re- energised.
I haven't replied many appointments message yet but when I have sorted 2026 Diary, (yes I am very old fashioned Diary hand writing booking system between fur clients and I.), I will get you back soon.
Please just give me a little time to feet up and cuddle my Harrison and Maddison.
I couldn't have an amazing year without you doggos and hooman clients.

Please check your appointment date and time carefully. I don't send a reminder.
Everyone is busy and easy to forget an appointment, I totally understand.
However, NO Show and within 24 hours cancellation are bit painful as I am not able to fit waiting list doggos in such a short notice. Even I have spare times.

All groomers are pretty much booked out till next year 2026 like me.

Please check your diary and circle your doggo 's pamper date. If missed appointment, doggo will suffer under this hot weather or uncomfortable pawpads, nails and more.

One last thing to tell you " still available on 29th, 30 th and 31st December if you need me.🐾"

Spots before Christmas is all full now.
However, if you need grooming before Christmas, and it's ok to come at 7am , yes, strictly 7am starts, I can fit you in🐾.
I will have a little break between 24 th December to 28th December. Also 1st January to 4th January.still a few spots available after Christmas if needed to be refreshed to have new year 2026.
