We are very excited to see our fabulous facility growing into the future!

A big thanks to everyone of our stakeholders for the suggestions and input gained over many years of events run at QSEC. To the representatives from Equestrian Queensland, Dressage Queensland, Queensland Showjumping Club, Caboolture Dressage Group, Tropicana Classic, The Saddlefitter Brisbane CDI, to name a few, we look forward to continued collaboration to ensure this long awaited upgrade hits the mark for our venue!

Want to watch some freestyle dressage?

Our local dressage club the Caboolture Dressage Group is holding their annual Two Star Regional Championships on June 13,14 and 15th 2025 across QSEC’s Stadium Arenas and outdoor arena complex.

Showcase night is set for Saturday 14th June at the stadium, and with a food van in attendance and the QSEC bar open to grab a beverage and a feed while you sit back and watch the freestyles from 5:30pm-9pm!

Entry is free !

QSEC IS HIRING!

We are excited to announce that we have a full-time and a casual role available in our expanding Venue Maintenance Team here at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre!

We are looking for TWO active team players to join us! If you or someone you know has a skill set which involves a range of venue preparations and maintenance taskings, including of tractor work, small plant and machinery, arena dragging and preparations, fencing tasks, stable maintenance and event set ups/take downs and have some experience in the equine and/or livestock industry, then please- we would love to hear from you!

Event season is really underway at QSEC! On this weekend and into next week we have:

🐴Sunday 13th April:
Caboolture Dressage Group has the Official Dressage and Interschool Qualifying event.
Venue: QSEC Outdoor Arena Complex (entry via Gate 15, 155 Old Gympie Road)

🐴 Monday 14th April- Saturday 19th April:
Queensland Reining Horse Association (Q.R.H.A) State Show!
Venue: QSEC Stadium Arenas (entry for spectators via Stadium Gates, Tuckeroo Drive)

QSEC is gearing up and battening down for Cyclone Alfred 🌀🌀🌀

Our stables are at capacity with 154 of the region's horses booked in to stay with us to avoid the forecasted weather conditions. Unfortunately we cannot house everyone😥.
We are taking a wait list for our stables, however, we cannot guarantee a place for your horse. So please work in with your wider horse community to find a safe place for your horse to wait out Alfred.

We are now recruiting for a full time Role as our Venue Support Officer to join our team here at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre!
