🐾 Greyhound Adoption Day at Petcare Byron Bay! 🐾

We’re excited to be hosting Greyhounds As Pets NSW at Petcare Byron Bay this Saturday!

Come along and meet some beautiful retired racing greyhounds looking for their forever homes. If you’ve ever wondered what greyhounds are really like, this is the perfect opportunity to chat with the GAP team, meet the dogs in person, and learn more about the adoption process.

💙 Greyhounds are gentle, affectionate, low-maintenance companions and make wonderful family pets.

Another Pets in the Park clinic done and dusted today! We saw 15 pets - dogs and cats today with a variety of needs. We've also recently spayed a number of kittens and have a dentistry for one of our "ladies of a certain age"! We have also been able to provide food and treats to our clients as well as a generous toy donation from Petcare Byron Bay . The picture below is of some of our new volunteers from the Southern Cross University Veterinary Technician program. We will be at the Bangalow Furry Friends Day in a couple weeks - come by to see what we do, sign up to volunteer and maybe make a donation!😻🐱🐶

Meet Jo, Co-Owner of Petcare Byron Bay.

Jo started her career in the pet industry with Hill’s Pet Nutrition, spending 10 years across both the pet and veterinary sectors - it’s also where she met her husband, Simon!

In 2025, Jo and Simon became full owners of Petcare Byron Bay, transforming the store with a fresh new look, expanded product ranges, and a focus on supporting local businesses and sustainability.

Proudly local, family-owned and community-driven, Jo is passionate about creating a welcoming space where pets and their people feel valued and where the best care and advice are always on hand.

We are delighted to have Jo speak on our panel at our upcoming Women in Pet event.
