🐾 Greyhounds blood is universal and can be used in all dog breeds!

🐾 Greyhounds are ideal donors due to their calm demeanour!

🐾 Greyhounds have a high red blood cell count and very accessible veins!

Maximum 1 hour of your time and your greyhound gets some really good snacks!

We have helped home 40 greyhounds in the last 2 years! Today we got to have a play date with 10 of them! It was so fun to see them all together as instant friends 🐾

We have a beautiful bonded pair currently in foster care who are ready to find a loving family to call their own. Meet Terry & Jodie 💕

✨ Terry
Terry loves his daily walks and is the perfect gentleman on the lead. He happily ignores other dogs, enjoys stopping for a good sniff, and takes everything in at his own pace. Terry prefers a calm environment and is best suited to a home with older children, as he enjoys peace and quiet. He does, however, have a cheeky side and will happily sneak into the kitchen if there’s a chance of a treat being found!

Jodie is the definition of fun and enthusiasm. She adores kids, loves soft toys, and brings energy and joy wherever she goes. She has endless patience and thrives in a busy household truly the yin to Terry’s yang. Jodie is not suitable for homes with small animals (cats, chickens, etc) as she tends to see them as toys. Any toy is fair game in Jodie’s eyes, and the kids have learned to either tidy up or share with her!

Together, Terry and Jodie are a wonderfully chill and relaxed pair. They enjoy their daily walk, spend most of the day snoozing on their beds, and finish the evening with cuddles on the couch with their foster mum 🛋️💤

We have our first “Blue” Greyhound!

There are approximately 30 recognised colour forms for greyhounds! Grey is actually considered “Blue” for the greyhounds and it is also not a very common colour!!

Meet Karl, my kids have been waiting and waiting for a “Blue” foster to come our way. Miss A was not impressed to find out it’s actually a grey colour!

Karl has beautiful melt your heart brown eyes 👀 has the sweetest calm nature! He is enjoying the new discovery of the couch 🛋️

A Goodbye Hug from a Tiny Foster Friend

Today, we said goodbye to our foster greyhound, Don. I hugged him tight and told him I loved him. I didn’t want to let go.

I learned so much from Don—how to be gentle, how to help a nervous dog feel safe, and how love doesn’t have to last forever to be real. Mommy says we helped him find his forever home, and that makes my heart happy (even though it still feels a little sad).

Goodbye, sweet Don.
I’ll always remember you.
