🐾 Boarding Kennel Attendant – Join Our Team! 🐶🐱🐴

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Kennel Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.

This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves animals and isn’t afraid of hard work. Our days are busy, physical, and hands-on — and no two days are the same!

What the role involves:
• Feeding and caring for dogs, cats, and horses
• Exercising dogs
• Cleaning kennels and maintaining high hygiene standards
• Yard work and gardening
• General daily upkeep of the facility
• Opportunity to grow into dog grooming for the right person

⚠️ Let’s be real — this job is not easy:
You will be on your feet most of the day, lifting, pushing wheelbarrows, handling large and sometimes boisterous dogs, and working in all weather conditions — hot, cold, wet, muddy, dusty. It’s physical, it’s messy, and it’s demanding… but incredibly rewarding for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine interest in working with animals
• Is confident handling dogs, cats, and ideally horses
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Has strong time management and prioritisation skills
• Is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the less glamorous jobs
• Has great attention to detail
• Can communicate and report issues effectively
• Is proactive, motivated, and reliable
• Has basic computer, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Has their own transport

🚫 Please note: This is not a veterinary nursing position.
✅ However, there is room to grow within the role for the right applicant.

During her absence, we're pleased to welcome **Dr Dan**, who will be stepping in and caring for our patients. Dr Dan is an experienced veterinarian and is looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members.

Our team will continue to provide the same high standard of care you've come to expect, and we know you'll make Dr Dan feel right at home.
