🐾 Boarding Kennel Attendant – Join Our Team! 🐶🐱🐴

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Kennel Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.

This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves animals and isn’t afraid of hard work. Our days are busy, physical, and hands-on — and no two days are the same!

What the role involves:
• Feeding and caring for dogs, cats, and horses
• Exercising dogs
• Cleaning kennels and maintaining high hygiene standards
• Yard work and gardening
• General daily upkeep of the facility
• Opportunity to grow into dog grooming for the right person

⚠️ Let’s be real — this job is not easy:
You will be on your feet most of the day, lifting, pushing wheelbarrows, handling large and sometimes boisterous dogs, and working in all weather conditions — hot, cold, wet, muddy, dusty. It’s physical, it’s messy, and it’s demanding… but incredibly rewarding for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine interest in working with animals
• Is confident handling dogs, cats, and ideally horses
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Has strong time management and prioritisation skills
• Is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the less glamorous jobs
• Has great attention to detail
• Can communicate and report issues effectively
• Is proactive, motivated, and reliable
• Has basic computer, literacy, and numeracy skills
• Has their own transport

We're looking for a third Boarding Kennel Attendant💧🐴🐱🛁🚿🧹🐶🍎
We would love an enthusiastic Kennel hand to join our team! Partime basis with duties including feeding and exercising dogs and cats, feeding horses, gardening and yard work, general cleaning/kennel duties and the potential for some expansion into dog grooming.
This job is suited to a flexible worker with the capability to work unsupervised as well as be an important part of our team.
This can be quite a physically demanding job, you will be on your feet alot, pushing wheelbarrows ect, dealing with large dogs that sometime jump on you, as well as dealing with some heavy things such as horse feed bags ect. It is dirty, dusty, muddy, hot, cold ect.
Desired skills:
An interest in working in the animal field
Confidence in handling dogs and cats and horses
Time management and job prioritization
Willingness to pitch in and do the not so glamorous jobs
An eye for detail
Ability to report back any issues with boarders ect
Problem solving
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Self driven motivation
Computer skills
Own transport
Cleaning skills
