We are a small veterinary clinic providing compassionate care for pets. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Dog Groomer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about animals and committed to providing the best grooming services in a professional and caring environment.

Position Summary:
The Dog Groomer will provide grooming services for dogs, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. You will work closely with our veterinary team to ensure that pets receive the best care, including routine grooming as well as specific treatments based on their health needs. Your role will be essential in enhancing the overall well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other routine grooming tasks.
Ensure that all dogs are groomed where appropriate to owner preferences. We prioritize comfort over anything else and also offer sedation/GA grooming.
Monitor pets for signs of illness or injury and report concerns to the veterinary team.
Maintain grooming equipment and keep grooming areas clean and organized.
Provide high-quality customer service, communicating with pet owners to understand their pets’ grooming needs.
Keep accurate records of grooming services provided for each pet.
Work collaboratively with veterinary staff to ensure pets’ health and safety.
Adhere to all clinic protocols, including infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a dog groomer would be great but we are willing to train the right applicant.
Comfortable working with a wide variety of dog breeds and sizes.
Ability to handle pets with care, patience, and compassion.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with pet owners.
Basic understanding of animal health and grooming-related issues (such as skin conditions or parasite infestations).
