👋 Hello salty friends! Just wanted to introduce myself to those that might be new around here, & wondering what this Saltiest Dog biz is all about…

🧂My name is Kate & I’m founder/owner/operator of The Saltiest Dog. I’m a qualified vet nurse with a passion for a healthy & natural approach to pet healthcare.

🐩 Like many of us in this corner of the gram, I’m dog obsessed & the basis of my business existing is so that your dog can live their longest (and best) life possible!

🩷My dog Lulu is my canine soulmate & the food she eats is one of the main foundations to her longevity.

👼 She is almost 12 now & even though I am also the mother of human twins she is still the angel of my universe & my love for her is like no other!

👑 I take my role as her favourite person very seriously and she lives like a Queen (scroll across to put a face to the name!).

🍖 At The Saltiest Dog we make raw feeding easy. With conveniently prepared raw meals plus a range of nutrient dense additions- all the hard prep work is done for you, and you can rest easy knowing your dog is eating a nutritious diet with nothing nasty or unnecessary added.

What we use:
🐟 Meat and fish from the for human consumption supply chain (including working with local suppliers and processors to utilise everything so nothing is wasted).

🍓Real ingredients like offal, fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds and of course- meat!

What we don’t use:
➖Cheap fillers
➖Preservatives
➖Meal meals

Shyla is the kinda employee you wanna keep forever.

I am sure I am not alone in saying I will miss Shyla so much!

It’s her last day tomorrow so be sure to pop into the shop (preferably with your dog) so she can say goodbye 👋

Hey friends, due to some staffing changes (we are losing a legend that you all know and love- Shyla 😢), there has to be some changes to the shop opening hours.

We are closing a little earlier during the week (cause ya girls gotta take the kids to swimming lessons etc), and we will also now be closed on Sundays.

The shop will be open on Saturdays from 10-3pm.

I encourage y’all to try out our delivery service as we transition towards the shop closing- which will be Dec at the latest but possibly earlier.

Send us a DM with your postcode now and we can let you know when we next deliver to your area.
