🦆 Lucky Duck🦆

After being unwell for around two months, radiographs revealed a surprising culprit: a small metal SIM-card tray tool lodged in her intestine. Jennifer underwent life-saving surgery to remove it, and today her sutures came out with everything healing nicely.

She’s bright, comfortable and doing very well — a wonderful outcome for one very lucky little duck. 💛

We’ve seen some unusual foreign bodies over the years, but a SIM-card tool was definitely a new one! 📱🦆

An OA diagnosis can be missed in some dogs because the signs may be subtle or overlooked as normal changes related to ageing.
