Is crate training used as punishment? I’m asked this a lot. The answer is no. Dogs love their crates. It’s a safe place, it’s a place to sleep, it a place to eat, it’s a place to relax.
It is a must that your pup is crate trained. It’s the safest way to travel your dog, going to a vet or groomer they must be relaxed in a crate.

Our up and coming show team 3 months and 4 months old, 4 pups in this crate with full access to a yard bigger than most residential house yards choose to sleep in a crate.
Yes I think they need another crate.

As your Bulldog puppy prepares to head off to their new home, we want to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Your puppy has been raised on a combination of Prime 100 rolls, Lyka Beef or Lamb meals, Pet Mince Direct Essential BARF, and Meals for Mutts Puppy & Whelping dry food. These meals have been mixed with long life lactose free milk, which is now gradually being removed and will be completely phased out by 7 weeks of age.

Feeding amounts will constantly change as your puppy grows. There will be stages where they need more food, and times where they need less. A growing Bulldog should have a visible tuck-up and you should be able to feel their ribs without seeing them. If your puppy is becoming overweight, they are being overfed — nothing good comes from a fat puppy. Excessive stools can also indicate overfeeding or poor-quality food.

Your puppy is currently on 3 small meals per day. This should gradually be reduced to 2 meals per day by 12 weeks of age. Once your Bulldog is close to full maturity, you can transition to 1 meal per day.

The health of your puppy directly reflects the quality of the food you feed. Good nutrition during growth is one of the most important foundations for raising a healthy, strong Bulldog.
