Easter is a time for chocolate, candy, and festive treats—but did you know many common goodies can be toxic to your cats and dogs? Keep your furry friends safe this holiday!
⚠️ Foods to Avoid:
- Chocolate – contains theobromine, which is poisonous to dogs & cats
- Grapes & Raisins – can cause kidney failure
- Candy with Xylitol – dangerous even in small amounts
- Onions & Garlic – can damage red blood cells
- Alcohol & Yeast Dough – can be life-threatening
🐣 Other Hazards:
- Easter grass (plastic or decorative) – can cause intestinal blockages
- Small toys, foil, or plastic wrappers – choking risk
💡 Tips for a Safe Easter:
- Keep candy and chocolate out of reach
- Offer pet-friendly treats instead
