She was attacked by a dog and then the world stopped feeling safe for this Groodle.

So anything that moved quickly?
Butterflies. Lizards, she had to chase them.

If another dog was around?
We couldn’t even get close.

So no… we didn’t start with “stay”

We gave her space to feel safe.

To pause.
To think.
To choose.

Now?

She watches instead of chases.
Moves without panic.

And she’s booked in for her therapy dog assessment.

Sure… I can teach your dog to sit.
But what I actually do?

I help dogs enjoy their world again.

Are you and your dog actually enjoying your walks? 🐾

Because that’s the goal… a calm walk that you both enjoy.

Loose lead walking isn’t something dogs just know how to do, it’s a skill you learn together.

It’s a dance….it takes time, practice, and a relationship built on trust.

Your lead isn’t just for control, it’s a way to stay in sync. A quiet communication tool that helps you check in with each other as you go.

Using force free, positive reinforcement training methods, kindness and a focus on connection, I can help you and your dog walk together calmly with confidence.

Just a couple of Resource Guarders working out their new normal.

Previous learning has taught them things are not to be shared.

Beds, people, doorways… just existing too close to the other could become a problem very quickly.

So we teach, that another dog in the space means.

- Everyone has a resting place. - Your people are safe.
…and that good things happen when you finally relax.

We start small.
We don’t rush trust.

Then slowly, things shift.

Spaces and people are shared.

And the world gets a little less scary.
Progress like this isn’t dramatic.

It’s quiet.

But it changes everything.

From Barking to Bravery

I am working with this beautiful sproker spaniel, helping him feel calmer and more confident when the world feels overwhelming.

His people have been putting in the work, and it’s paying off.

Our focus is on:

•Building his confidence so new situations don’t feel scary

•Teaching him that unfamiliar dogs, people, and places aren’t a threat

•Strengthening the trust and connection he shares with his family

Reactivity isn’t bad behaviour ….it’s communication.

By listening to him and using force-free, reward-based training, we’re showing him that the world can be safe and predictable.

Every small win matters, and with patience and consistency, he’s showing us just how much progress is possible.

Small legs, big attitude… and a nose for causing mischief!

This teenage Dachshund is learning independence, practicing manners, and discovering that not everything in the world is scary.

Every new sound, person, or sniff is part of the adventure.

With guidance and love from his guardian, he’s slowly turning curiosity into confidence…one little step at a time.

Tiny dog…. Big Ears….BIG job!

Papillon puppies are sharp, fast, and not particularly concerned with your toilet training timeline.

Small bladder, questionable decision-making, and just enough dare devil to keep you on your toes.

A little harder…Yes
Worth it…Absolutely

He has a name, a guardian doing the work and a Nationally Accredited Dog trainer on call!

Sorted!

Wait… is that a fox? Nope….just the cutest corgi in Brisbane!

This adorable little dude has been finding the big, wide world a bit much lately.

After our first session, it became clear that this sweet little guy needed a vet check before we could move forward.

Now he’s getting the right support, feeling better each day, and finally starting his journey to a calmer, happier life .

One lucky pup, two devoted guardians, and a dog trainer who believes every little corgi deserves to feel safe and seen.

“Excuse me, human… you’re close enough.”

This handsome adolescent pup made it crystal clear that my presence is fine… as long as I stay right where I am. That’s fair enough buddy.

Why would I force it?

Respecting boundaries isn’t just polite… it helps dogs feel safe.

We humans love assuming every dog wants a pat, but here’s your gentle reminder: permission applies to canines too.

I’ve got clients (and friends!) whose dogs I’ve never patted, and that’s not sad, it means we’re communicating clearly and respecting what they’re telling us.

So, next time a dog says “you’re close enough”… listen. It’s not rejection… it’s building trust. 🐾
