Dear Valued PnP Clients,

We know it’s been difficult to get in touch with us and book appointments lately. As many of you know, Sophie has recently left for a new adventure, and while we miss her greatly, we wish her all the best on this exciting new journey!

Unfortunately the grooming industry is currently facing challenges. With the rise of home salons and no formal certification requirements, it has become harder for established, professional salons like ours to attract experienced groomers. As a result, we’re currently operating at a reduced capacity, not even close to where we’d like to be. We are actively searching for new groomers to bring us back to our full potential and continue delivering the high-quality service you’ve come to expect.

In light of these challenges, and following our recent soundproofing renovations to stay in our current location, we will be implementing a slight price increase starting in 2025. This will help us continue offering the best care for your pets in a comfortable and professional environment.

We kindly ask for your patience during this time, as there may be a delay of a few days in responding to calls and messages due to our current workload and unfortunately I’ve had to postpone my hospital treatment to focus on the salon’s needs, so your understanding and support truly mean the world to us.

Thank you for your continued loyalty and trust. We look forward to welcoming your pets soon and appreciate you standing by us during this transition.

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of updates to share. Sadly, Sophie will be leaving Pups N Potions after accepting a new job offer. Her last day with us will be the 4th of October and we wish her all the best in her new role.

On a personal note, I’ve had an update on my health. I have an appointment with the hospital on the 8th to discuss treatment options. If surgery is needed, it will likely be scheduled just after Christmas. I want to thank our amazing clients for your patience and understanding as I navigate this, and there may be some small adjustments to scheduling during this time. We appreciate your continued support.

In light of these changes, we’re hiring! We’re looking for a Salon Manager and a Groomer to join our team.

Requirements:

• Both roles need a minimum of two years grooming experience.
• The Manager role requires prior salon management experience.

We offer generous pay and are flexible with hours. Our salon is a calm, welcoming space where we care deeply for our clients, team, and furry friends.

We have some heartfelt news to share.
This week, our beloved groomer, Sophie, had to say goodbye to her loyal companion, Timba. Their bond was extraordinary, and Timba held a very special place in Sophie’s heart. And even though he wasn’t physically present in the salon, he always felt like part of the PNP family.

Sophie extends her heartfelt gratitude for everyone’s kindness and understanding during this difficult time. Your support and patience have been a tremendous comfort as she mourns the loss of her dear companion.

It’s been two fantastic months since Sophie joined our team, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board! With over 2 years of grooming experience and a genuine love for animals, Sophie’s dedication shines through in every groom. Trained by top professionals, she ensures the highest standard of care for your furry friends. Sophie’s favorite breeds to pamper are Schnauzers, Cockers, and double coats. Oh, and did we mention she’s the proud parent of a German Shepherd, 2 rats, and 2 chickens!!
