The 3yo Filly, by Royal Meeting, relished the step up in distance to 1200m and showed just how versatile she can be!

With a perfectly timed and patient ride by Justin Stanley she was able to display her exceptional grit late and run down the leader in the concluding stages for an exciting finish.

Town Crier proves too tough on Saturday at Doomben to take out Race one!

First up and back on a good surface, the 4yo Spirit of Boom gelding proved he is one to follow this preparation, notching up his 4th career win from just 12 starts!

Aided by a gun front running ride from , he toughed it out and proved too strong late! 💪🏼

An incredibly special win yesterday by our 3yo Vancouver gelding, Headhunter, following the devastating news of Howard Blight’s passing that morning.

Headhunter dug deep to outclass his opponents and was perfectly guided by stable apprentice who sported the well known bright cerise and yellow colours with an added black arm band in Howard’s honour.

The stable is very fortunate to have had an owner such as Howard and we offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Rounding off the day for a stable treble, as well as our fifth winner in 2 days, was Pickabae!

This exceptionally well bred 4yo Capitalist Mare is out of Pickabee making her closely related to stable star Uncommon James 🤩

In an impressive debut, Pickabae shot clear from the wide draw, leading the whole way at a lovely tempo at the hands of stable hoop who rated the horse well.

Though she has previously shown us her evident ability in trials we were excited to see her put it all together under race conditions and put the them away by 2L.

Pickabae looks to have the world at her feet, this just being the beginning for this fast mare.

Hoop Simon Miller, again, utilised a low draw and this mare’s early speed to take up and maintain the lead for the 1200m trip.

Second Sun secures the win on Sunday at the Sunshine Coast. A feat that has been knocking on the door all preparation!

Our ever consistent gelding by The Autumn Sun relished the stepped up in distance to 1800m, coming to the line with his ears pricked in an all too easy victory.

A perfect ride by stable hoop who knows this horse well and has built quite the connection.

Shalaa’s Moment takes out The Swiss Ace Plate to make it a double for the stable on Mooloolaba Cup day!

The 5yo mare by Shalaa braved the heavy conditions and displayed her distinguishing and powerful turn of foot to notch her seventh win from 14 starts. She now has an impressive strike rate of 50%!

Aerial Dancer goes all the way and wins Race 2 at the Sunshine Coast!

Going back to back and now marking three wins together, Ron Stewart and Aerial Dancer have formed quite the partnership. With a well rated front running ride, this duo keeps on getting better and we look forward to what more is to come.

The 4yo Trapeze Artist mare has a stellar 50% strike rate with now 5 wins from 10 runs! She is proving to be a very valuable mare to have within the stable.

Break Free made her much anticipated debut over the 1000m at Caloundra on Sunday, winning in fine style under the guide of !

The 3yo daughter of Capitalist had shown great promise in both of her trials and brought the same class to the races, breaking her maiden straight off the bat.

While she clocked a very sharp time of 57.20 seconds and put a 2L margin on the rest of the field, there is excitingly still much for this filly to learn. We have a high opinion of Break Free and can’t wait to see her put it all together in the near future!
