Did you know that guinea pigs are sensitive to temperatures above 26 degrees! As these cute little pets may experience heat exhaustion which could sadly lead to them passing away, it is so important to make sure your piggies are kept cool on hot days!

You can help prevent heat stroke by;
- Ensuring your piggies have cool, fresh water and veggies
- Provide them with a frozen water bottle or ice brick covered in a tea towel for them to lay against
- Put bricks or tiles in their cage for them to lay on to cool down
