It is with great sadness that we announce today that we have lost our little Polly-Emma. The happiest little dog in the world, who thought she was a Bull Mastiff dog even though she was only a tiny pint sized Tzuzie. She will be sorely missed by us all... I know I'm not meant to have favourites but this little girl was Mama's bubby Tzuzi girl! A real cheery character who would lick out my coffe cup, after I had finished my coffee. She would bark incessantly if no one dealt with diabetes problems and she thought the alert dog was not doing her job! Other than that she didn't bark unless telling us about visitors she did not like, the cat next door her least liked. We never got around to training her as an alert dog, but most certainly she had a great instict for caring for people. And could jump up into your lap no matter how high up you were sitting. Though she knew when she could come up or not - muddy paws a no no!
The last time I showered her, she tried so hard to get away from the water that my little boy was sure her eyes would pop right out. And gven half a chance she would wee on the verandah, so as not to get her feet wet in the rain but then yesterday she was charging around playing in the rain like a water dog!
My biggest regret is that I didn't take enough photos over the last `too busy` while, I never imagined she wouldn't be with us tomorrow! And I am sad that she never had the chance to have any baby Polly Emmas as most certainly the world would be a better place with more little Polly-Emmas, for sure. She was named after my daughter Emma who loved her to bits, we all did And we also named her after the classic character called Pollyanna, who was always unstopably happy, bright and cherry, loving and kind...sweetness personified... that's our Tzu! Miss our little girlie already!!
