Seeing Double the Cuteness at Brookfield Vet Surgery! 🐾❤️

Recently at Brookfield Vet Surgery, we had an adorable moment when a sweet little chihuahua named Ruby came in for a visit—and met her name-twin, our lovely Kennelhand Ruby!
Tiny Ruby the chihuahua may be small in size, but her big brown eyes and wagging tail filled the clinic with joy.
She quickly made friends with our Nurse Mel, who is a bit of a chihuahua fan, and of course, she got extra special attention from Kennelhand Ruby—because how often do you get to cuddle a dog that shares your name?

💕Pepper‘s Predicament 💕
Pepper recently came in to see us when her mum became worried after she had been unable to keep any food or water down for a day or two. Pepper has been a known underwear eater in the past, so these symptoms raised concerns with our Dr. Floss that perhaps we were looking at a case of a gastric foreign body. Dr Floss‘ suspicions were soon confirmed through medical imaging and Pepper found herself undergoing a laparotomy to safely remove the foreign body from her gastrointestinal tract. Thanks to our awesome surgical team of Dr Floss, Dr John and Nurse Mikaela, Pepper has been doing well and looks set for a full recovery.
And what may you ask, was the offending item that was removed? You guessed it, underwear! We hope that this marks the end of Pepper’s panty pinching ways 😳♥️

🫧HYDROBATH UPDATE🫧
After a brief hiatus our hydrobath is back up and running. If your pooch needs a spruce don‘t hesitate to give us a call and book them a bath. 🛁 🫧
