Everyday we hear sad rescue stories
Animals that need help and don’t get it.
This little girl is getting everything she needs, her past is sad, and her future is cloudy, health wise.
Little Hannah is surrounded by love and people that will give her everything she needs.
But the financial cost is huge, and when money isn’t available it restricts the ability to help the next animal in need.
From our experience, the vet bill will already be several times more than the $2000.00 Pei and Pals Animal Rescue INC. are trying to raise.
We ask if you can, if you have money in your purse and the love in your heart to please give a little for little Hannah.

❤️ Hannah Update ❤️

We have a bit of a sad update on our little Hannah.

After Hannah’s surgery to remove her two mammary gland tumours, another tumour was discovered under her armpit. Sadly, the results have confirmed that this tumour also contains cancer cells.

Our vet believes that due to Hannah’s older age and being desexed later in life, she is likely to continue developing mammary tumours. Some may be benign, while others may be cancerous.

Despite everything, Hannah has such an incredible will to live. She has a bouncy little step when she walks, is very territorial and always lets everyone know when someone comes to the house, and she absolutely wolfs down her food—in fact, she beats her carer’s other three dogs hands down!

Hannah loves cuddles, sleeps peacefully through the night, and now knows she is truly loved. She is loved simply for being Hannah, not because she could produce more puppies for profit.

Hannah now has a whole village behind her who will continue to love and care for her, no matter what the future holds.

Our foster appeal has reached many of our wonderful supporters, but we urgently need it to reach people outside our usual circle.

The reality is that the same foster carers are often the ones stepping up time and time again. Without new foster homes, there are cats currently sitting in the pound that we simply cannot bring into rescue.

If you can't foster, sharing our post is one of the most powerful ways you can help.

Rusty would like everyone to know that spreadsheets are temporary, but pats are forever 🧡

Every time his foster carer opens the laptop, Rusty springs into action:
✔ Supervising
✔ Yelling opinions nobody asked for
✔ Climbing into laps mid-email

He’s basically a tiny middle manager with absolutely no boundaries and a lot to say 😸

Huge thank you to the team at Animal Rescue Cooperative (ARC) for their incredibly generous food donations for our foster cats.

We’re so grateful for the support! Donations like these make such a difference for rescue and foster carers, and the cats are clearly very happy with the haul 🐱

Also a massive shoutout to the volunteers who gave up their time on the day and made the collection process so smooth and easy. It takes a village, and we appreciate every single person who helps behind the scenes.

She is just too stressed in her current environment and needs somewhere that is dog and possibly cat free , so she can relax.

A very sad update for Cooper and the team at Pei and Pals Animal Rescue INC.
Our hearts are with them today

This is an update that we never wanted to have to share…💔

Little Cooper crossed the rainbow bridge last night 🌈🐾

Somewhere over the rainbow, angels fly… and now he runs among them. 🪽

Our beautiful boy fought so bravely against Parvo, showing such a strong, confident spirit right until the very end. He never gave up, and that fighting nature is something we will always remember about him.

We are absolutely heartbroken that he couldn’t stay longer. But in his short time, Cooper brought so much love and light to everyone who met him.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the incredible AEC team for their care and compassion, to everyone who sent love, hope, and donations to help give Cooper a fighting chance, and to everyone who supported us along the way.

Most of all, thank you to his very special foster mum — your love meant everything to him, and to us🩵

Cooper will be remembered not for his struggle, but for his confidence, his strength, and the happiness he brought. 🧡

Run free, little one. You were so loved. Always. 🌈🐾

Tonight we share this pleas for help
Little Cooper is fighting for his life
It’s very real that he may not make it
Parvo is insidious
It’s indiscriminate
It’s vile
Just can’t describe how awful it is, if you haven’t stood up for a dog suffering this you will never know how awful it is. We hope you never have too
Please if you can spare a small gift for his vet work that would be amazing , but please, please share his post

Tonight is one of the hardest nights we’ve faced😔

Little Cooper is not doing well. He’s fighting so hard, and we’re holding onto hope with everything we have. We’ve committed to another 12 hours of care, praying he can make it through the worst of parvo.

Right now, things are really serious… but he deserves every chance to keep fighting.

To everyone who has already donated — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We truly couldn’t have gotten this far without you. 🧡

The costs have now reached $4,500, and we’re asking, if you can, please help us keep going. No amount is too small. Even sharing this post or sending your prayers means more than you know.
