UPDATE: “Graham” has been adopted!
“Graham” is a truly unique and charming gentleman who was recently surrendered into our care for rehoming, through no fault of his own. At 11 years and 7 months old, this red Selkirk Rex is now on the lookout for a special person or family who can offer him a peaceful, loving retirement home to live out his golden years in comfort. He also comes with pedigree papers. Understandably, “Graham” is feeling a little out of sorts with all the recent big changes and is still adjusting to life at the surgery. He’s a very placid, sweet natured boy, though a little timid and shy when you first meet him. His previous family described him as easy going and loving - he’s not a lap cat, but he does enjoy coming up for some affection when he’s in the mood. “Graham” is also a very large boy, currently weighing in at 7.8kg, so he would definitely benefit from a slow and steady weight loss journey to help him feel his best. Mostly, he enjoys relaxing, observing the world from a cosy spot, and soaking up the quiet life. He has lived with other cats in the past, though he’s been a solo kitty for the last 18 months. His new owner will need to be prepared to keep up with a bit of maintenance - regular brushing of his beautiful curly coat, along with occasional face, ear and eye wipes. Adoption Cost:
“Graham’s” adoption fee is $160. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated and vet checked.
