🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
After much reflection, I need to share some very difficult news.
Today will be my final day operating from Bethania Community Centre, and within the next month or two (date to be confirmed), Pawesome Treatos & Services will be permanently closing. So please come along 9am-11am bying your pups and get a FREE nail clip for thise in need today one last time 💜
This is not a decision I ever planned to make. For nearly eight years, this business has been my passion and my pride. Supporting your beloved pets and building genuine relationships within our community has meant more to me than I can express.
Unfortunately, my health condition is progressing, and I must now prioritise my wellbeing and securing safe, stable housing. As many are aware, the rental crisis across Australia has made this incredibly challenging. I have been living in a home affected by black mould for over a year while consistently applying for properties since April last year. At this stage, I am facing the possibility of homelessness or relocating interstate in order to secure accommodation.
My focus now is on doing everything possible to stabilise our situation, including preparing our vehicle in case we need it for temporary accommodation or interstate travel. I have shared a GoFundMe link in my bio for anyone who may wish to support or share it. Every bit of support truly makes a difference, particularly as losing stable housing would also mean losing my retired service dog, which would significantly impact my wellbeing.
To my loyal clients — some of whom I have had the honour of working with for many years — thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your animals, for your kindness, and for being part of this journey. It has been a privilege to care for your pets and to serve this community.
Closing this chapter is heartbreaking (Im a big cry baby just writing this post), but I am deeply grateful for the years of support and connection.
With sincere appreciation,
Aimee
