🐶Update on Samford 🐶

thank you to everyone who contacted me in regard to offering our Darling Samford, a new home. 🏡

We decided what was best for him was a home with another dog, and to relocate within the Brisbane area, to make it less disruptive. 🫶🏻

Well Samford: who has now been renamed Alfie moved into his new home last week with parents X & L, and is proving to be the perfect addition to their family. 👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻

And while from our initial play date, I could see he would really enjoy having a Labradoodle fur sister Millie. 🐶 #
The real cherry on top 🍒 is he now has 2 wonderful human brothers F & S 🏃🏻‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏻‍➡️who just love him to pieces.

Samford is a Medium sized Multi Generational Australian Labradoodle. He’s a rich Chocolate 🤎 brown 🤎with a little white goatee abstract marking on his chin. Both his parents 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺 have retained their deep chocolate coloring, without fading like many Choc Labradoodles do 🤎🤎. He has a silky soft fleece coat that is virtually non shedding. His family has kept his coat beautifully maintained 🧴and groomed 🪮🚿and he’s certainly a handsome pup. 🏆

He’s a super affectionate EmojiEmoji and well-socialized 🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻🧍🏻‍♂️boy who has received a solid foundation in training. However, he has exhibited some behaviors, such as chewing items that are not ❌chew toys when left alone. Rest of post in comments

Rest assured Samford has been an incredibly well loved 🤎Emoji🤎family member and is up to date with all vaccinations 🧑🏻‍⚕️👨🏼‍⚕️💉🩺and was neutered 🏥 in December. The decision to find him a new family, was not taken lightly. And please note there is no timeframe this needs to happen within. My priority is that he go to the very best home possible. 🏠🏘️⚽️🦴

A little more about Samford he loves treats such as banana, 🍌chicken, 🍗carrot sticks 🥕, antler bones and pig ears. Which we will encourage him to chew. He enjoys chewing on Kongs and toys 🧸 .

He knows “sit, drop & find it”. When going on walks 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️he has learnt that before crossing the road, stop 🛑 he must “sit and wait” until he is told to “heel”. He did know “leave it”but he has forgotten since entering adolescence Emoji🤦🏻‍♀️ (if you’ve had a Teenager in your life, you can relate to this)

As with all of our Darling Labradoodles, 🐶 he is an inside dog, who prefers to be around his pack either human 👩🏼‍💼or canine🐶. Samford absolutely adores cuddles and he will roll over if you ask “do you want a belly rub”.

He also loves to watch “Bluey” and his favourite show is “Dogs behaving very badly” and “The Dog House “.

Things have been incredibly quiet here at Darling HQ the last couple of months.

We had to suspend our end of year plans and put puppies on hold. Because I had to have reconstructive shoulder surgery, which requires me to wear and sleep in a sling for 6-8 weeks. Then weeks of Physio. But, a week after my surgery I thought I could potter in the garden with my good left arm then “Oh Dear”, I completely tore my supraspinatus tendon in my left arm. So the good folks at orthopaedics had me in 2 slings lol.

Anyway, I’m healing very well and now have plans for our first litter of 2025. We plan to Honeymoon our gorgeous little Maizy who is a Tan Parti, Mini Labradoodle, and Sister to my Best Boy Stanely.

We have a couple of potential “Puppy Daddys” in mind, both of whom carry Parti & Phantom in tans, chocolate and white. So, with Maizy’s gorgeous “Family Friendly temperament” and stunning low shedding, silky fleece coat, these puppies will be exceptional.

And we are hoping, that like our past litters that they will go on to become loving family companions, or to be trained in the field of Therapy or Emotional support. So we will be taking EOI Expressions of Interest of this upcoming Litter.

We’re very proud of our puppies here are Darling Labradoodles. And I’m going to feature some of our gorgeous pups over the next few weeks to share our happiness.

Facebook’s recent actions targeting breeder pages have put us at risk of losing our page permanently and without warning. If this happens, it’s likely that all our messages will also be lost. We’re doing everything we can I the background to minimize this risk and prepare backup plans, we’re only small specialized breeders, but our page is very important to us and holds some great memories.

We’re hoping that Facebook will cease this blanket targeting breeders who are fully registered, insured and follow the guidelines of the international breeding organizations. We believe that our Family Group page Of Darling Lovers should not be affected by this, so if anyone wishes to join this page please just click on the link.
Hopefully these Facebook restrictions will be sorted out quickly (considering breeders like me pay a great deal for our advertising to them)

🧡🐶Guardian family opportunity.🧡Miniature Australian Labradoodle.

We have 1 boy ❤️ORLANDO who is a stunning Tan Parti ❤️

and 1 girl 🩷 BERKELEY who is a gorgeous Chocolate Phantom with white markings🩷who we hope will be joining our breeding program and we are looking for 2 suitable Guardian homes in Brisbane.

Guardian Applications are welcome from single people, couples, families or retired, all genders and differently abled people. We just ask that all other criteria be met.

Our puppies are ready to join their guardian families over the next couple of weeks.

The Guardian gets to eventually own a dog that is the pick of the litter, who has had their hips & elbows assessed plus a full DNA profile done. As their parents have have, so no heritable health conditions will be present. Their reproductive health will be handled by QVS located at Stafford- the best in Qld.
So as we’re located on the south side of Brisbane, families located within that radius would be preferred (but not essential to the right family).

So they need to live in Brisbane, and to have owned a dog before or had family experience would be a bonus.

The “musts” are :
- The puppy must attend professional basic obedience training, and learn to go into a crate if needed. We have a recommended trainer and this is to be paid for by the guardian because they will reap the rewards of this training for the life of the dog.

These puppies will be miniature - approx 8-13 kg.
They have a stunningly soft silky fleece coats. They do not shed or drop their coats like Labradors.

We have enjoyed bringing this to you all as a buffet but this will be far better quality control.

🧡Introducing RENO, she’s a gorgeous playful puppy 🧡 with the most soulful eyes🧡 🧡

🧡Reno is a miniature Tan Parti - Multigenerational Labradoodle with beautiful a soft fleece coat that feels like silky angora.
She has a beautiful outgoing confident temperament, and she’s a very smart girl with strong human focus. She’s very social but not annoyingly so.
She loves to play in the garden and potter around with me. Her eye contact is exceptional, and she really engages when breing spoken to. 🧡 She was going to be kept for our program, but the timing is not right.

So she will now be offered and looking for her forever home. She likes others dogs but doesn’t need to be in a home with another dog, she’s also happy to do her own thing.

She is 90% toilet trained, sits and waits on command. Is learning to walk on lead and responds very well to basic training.
She’s almost 10 weeks old and ready for her new home.

He is a miniature Caramel Abstract Multigenerational Labradoodle with a gorgeous soft fleece coat that feels like silky angora, plus a cute liver nose. We expect him to grow to approx 10-12. He also has ridiculously long eye lashes like his Mumma Parry.

He is confident gentle boy, who is just loves his siblings, but is also very calm when spending time away from them. He’s happy to play alone or with others. He has a medium energy level, and has amazing eye contact. He has completed his temperament and aptitude testing and would suit pet companion, emotional support or therapy roles.
He loves cuddles and the donut bed.

He’s very social and would be fine in a home without another dog as long as his humans allowed him to still socialize with canine friends.

He is confident gentle boy, who is just loves his siblings, but is also very calm when spending time away from them. He likes the swing and hiding under the ramp with a pigs ear. He’s happy to play alone or with others. He has a medium energy level, and has amazing eye contact. He has completed his temperament and aptitude testing and would suit pet companion, emotional support or therapy roles.
He loves cuddles and the donut bed. He’s intrigued by kookaburras, and likes sniffing our cat. Life is glorious for BOSTON.

He’s very social and would be fine in a home without another dog as long as his humans allowed him to still socialize with canine friends occasionally.

BOSTON is very human motivated and an incredibly affectionate boy who loves to play and cuddle.

These puppies complete an Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent programs. And are expected to make exceptional pets as well as suitable to go on to further training as support or therapy dogs.

Tulsa is a stunning Chocolate Phantom Multigenerational Labradoodle.
He has a gorgeous soft non shedding fleece coat, that feels like silky angora with a little white flash on his chest, and on his chin.

We currently have 3 boys available for adoption. They will be miniature in size 7-13 kg in size.

Tulsa is a quietly confident boy, who is happy to play alone or with others. He has a medium energy level, and is just so full of love. And he has just started doing zoomies. But he hasn’t quite mastered stopping yet.
He has completed his temperament and aptitude testing and would suit being a pet companion, emotional support or therapy roles.

He’s toilet trained to wee mats and fake grass. He’s learning lead walking and basic commands.
Tulsa is a very lovable affectionate puppy.

Today at Darling HQ we had a bit of rain.

So it was perfect opportunity to get the puppies out, to teach them that it’s ok to walk and toilet on wet grass.
And of course they were absolutely brilliant at doing.

SLOW GENTLE DESENSITIZATION is our thing.

Everything was fine, and when they weren’t playing in the rain they were playing under the deck. Having different safe areas to explore, increases their confidence.

We have 3 boys available from this litter and 1 girl. Temperament and Aptitude testing has been completed. And they’re ready to leave this weekend.
This litter is miniature in size 7-13 kg.
With silky non shedding coats.

We’ve had a number of our puppies attend the Stay & Train program with Therapy & Support Animals Australia and they were fortunate enough to do the airport visit with Nikki and her team.
