Anyone need a Mechanic? I’ve heard this guy’s pretty good! 🐍 🚗 ⚒️

Summer attended a property in Petrie this morning that had a Coastal Carpet Python snoozing in the car engine bay! This snake was quite cold and most likely looking for somewhere a bit warmer and out of the rain to curl up. Summer relocated the snake to some nearby bushland for it to explore instead!

Why do snakes sometimes have blue/pale eyes? 🐍

As most people know, snakes routinely shed their skin every few months all at once revealing a fresh, clean and shiny layer of skin underneath. The reason their eyes appear blue right before shedding is because a layer of fluid builds up between the old and new skin layers to help it come off! Pretty cool huh?

GUESS THE SPECIES 🐍

This gorgeous little fella made its way into a lovely ladies front garden! She wasn’t too sure what species it was and felt more comfortable having it relocated as she was ripping the garden up.

Summer snapped the cutest pic of this snake before it was bagged and taken to some nice nearby bushland to have a snooze for the day.

Imagine trying to sleep while two male pythons are fighting in the roof above you! 🐍

In honour of Tiarnah’s birthday, we decided to post one of her most iconic Coastal Carpet Python catches of all time! This house unfortunately did not have a manhole, and the roof space was only about two feet, so this was the easiest way to get these two grumpy boys out!

This video was taken during breeding season, which means these two snakes were fighting over a nearby female that they could smell! Snake fights can be quite loud, with lots of thumping and hissing that can last for hours until one gives up! Crazy but cool!

What a perfect little coil of cuteness with that snoot sticking out. Glenn got the pleasure of relocating this Coastal Carpet Python yesterday and couldn’t resist showing you guys the pose it was waiting for him in!

I give this uber ride a 5 star rating! 🐍 ⭐️

Injured snakes are very lucky when they get to go into the Glenn mobile! They get a comfy spot with heated seats, and of course a seatbelt for safety first!

Thankfully the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital was only a 5 minute drive from this job so the snake could get help as soon as possible!

You ever get that feeling you are being watched? 😂👀

This is classic Common Tree Snake behaviour! They are such inquisitive snakes and will spy on you like a nosy neighbour! Also can we take a moment to appreciate that strength!

This video was sent in by a follower in McDowall, thanks so much for the awesome footage mate! They were happy to let the snake do its thing!
