Red-Bellied Black Snake in a Morayfield backyard! 🐍

This beauty was seen sunning itself yesterday morning right near the home owners patio. Due to them having pets, it was best that the snake was safely relocated into some nice bushland! Summer loves a good Red Belly catch!

Holy heck! Get outta that roller door ya bloody beauty! 😍

Glenn spent quite some time with this snake trying to get it out of the roller door, and then trying to get it to unhook itself from the shed! Long snakes can be quite difficult to catch, especially when they’re above you, as they can continue to cling onto different surfaces with either side of their body!

Well done Glenn, I bet that was a workout after all!

This juvenile Brown Tree Snake probably thought it found a nice forest to snooze in! 🥰

Although Brown Tree Snakes are mildly venomous, they are rear-fanged, meaning it takes more of a wide mouth bite and chew for them to envenomate you with a bite. Glenn was totally fine and the snake didn’t actually puncture through his skin, just a little graze!

Who made their way into the chicken coop?! 🐓🥚🐍

This lovely couple from Caboolture were house sitting for their daughter when they noticed the chooks and dog acting a bit strange around the coop! It all made sense when they noticed a large Coastal Carpet Python resting in the corner! They believe he had a sleepover the previous night.

Summer noticed quite a few scars on this snakes body and face that had healed up really well! Animals go through quite a lot in the wild that we don’t see, and it’s incredible to know that they are able to heal themselves and carry on living a healthy life!

What a CRAKER of a spot for this gorgeous Brown Tree Snake!! 🐍🌳🙏

Richie attended a job in flaxton where home renovations were being done, during the renovations they came across this little fella. To avoid any accidental injuries to the snake the homeowners asked for the snake to be relocated. The homeowners were more than happy to have the snake relocated at the back of their property, how good!! 🙏🐍
