The Long Dog Squad We are a small family based breeder of longhaired mini dachshunds in Brisbane, QLD. Our dogs are all extremely loved members of our family.

They are our passion, we do everything we can to produce healthy, well rounded pups. Our dogs are all DNA tested.

🤎 Mabel’s final litter is officially on the way.

We’re so excited to announce that Mabel and Kobe are expecting puppies due around 19 June.

This beautiful pairing is expected to produce long haired Miniature Dachshund puppies in chocolate and chocolate dapple, with the gorgeous coats, sweet expressions and loving personalities that both parents are known for.

Kobe is one of those dogs who wins everyone over. He’s gentle, loyal and happiest when he’s with his people. Mabel brings the fun, with a playful, outgoing personality and a love for adventure. Together, we expect puppies that will make wonderful family companions for homes looking for a dog that’s equally happy joining in on family activities or snuggling up on the couch at the end of the day.

The internet’s favourite little lovebirds are expecting again 💕🥹

Bubbles × Thumper babies are due around June 5th and if this pairing is anything like last time… we are in TROUBLE in the best way possible!

Their last litter absolutely stole hearts everywhere. Both Bubbles and Thumper have the sweetest, calmest temperaments and together they produce the most beautiful little souls. Soft, affectionate, easygoing puppies that just want to be near their people 🤍

This pairing gives us everything we love. Gorgeous coats, beautiful expressions, true mini size and the kind of temperaments that fit so naturally into family life.

We honestly cannot wait to see what they have for us this time ✨

Puppies are expected to be ready to head home from around July 31st.

black & creams are the most luxurious dachshunds of them all 👀🖤

everyone seems to fall head over heels for chocolates lately, but I swear black & creams are SO criminally underrated

there is just something timeless about them. the rich dark coats, soft cream points, the contrast, the expression… they give elegant old money dachshund energy every single time 😭

and fun fact… black and cream dapple was actually my very first colour dachshund 🩶 and i’ve been obsessed ever since.

these 5 beautiful boys all come from completely different parents and lines, yet every one of them has something special about them and we adore them all for different reasons

but honestly… there’s also just SOMETHING about boys 👀

male puppies always seem to pop so early. the expressions, the confidence, the heads, the presence… they’re just stunning from day one

so now we need answers 😂⬇️

This pairing is extra special to us.
Manny is from our very first litter with Franci and Pia, while Song is from our beautiful retired girl Khloe 🤍

Song brings gorgeous South African lineage, while Manny combines UK and Russian lines.

We are expecting beautiful chocolate and cream and chocolate and cream dapple long haired babies with beautiful coats, giant lush ears and calm affectionate temperaments.

Both parents are incredibly gentle and stable little dogs who adore being around people. Our puppies are raised inside our family home with lots of love, handling and confidence building from day one.

she understood the assignment from day one 🤍

our little dapple girl from fae × sprinkles has settled in so beautifully with her new family… and honestly, she was always going to be that girl

they’ve named her “汤圆” (tāng yuán)
a symbol of reunion and togetherness, which feels so perfect for her new beginning 🥹

this litter is now completely spoken for and we’re so grateful for the love they received. every message, every enquiry… it truly means the world to us

we’re taking a short little breather over the next few weeks, so things may go a bit quiet… but we’ll be back soon with something very worth waiting for ✨

Wins the kind of best friend who’s always by your side, whether it’s lazy mornings on the couch or following you around like your tiny little shadow.

Wins the softest cuddles, the warmest little presence, and a personality that just melts into you. He’s gentle, affectionate, and so naturally loving, the kind of puppy that doesn’t just fit into your life, he becomes your favourite part of it.

Wins years of loyalty, comfort, laughter, and those quiet little moments that end up meaning everything.

He’s our last little one for a while and he’s ready to head off this weekend with his bags packed and so much love to give… just waiting for the right person to find him.
