Well it was a lovely day at the Zone 2 Gymkhana. Sun was out and our one BPC rider was successful and had a fun day. Thanks to Cowra pony club for a very well run event. Also thanks to all the fantastic sponsors. The prizes were amazing!!

Congratulations Ellie Whittaker and Amy Caldwell for being selected to represent NSW at the PCA nationals in October

🐴 We are very excited & proud to announce that three Zone 2 riders have been selected to represent NSW as part of the State Team at the Pony Club Nationals in Werribee, Victoria later this year.

Ellie Whittaker from Bribbaree Pony Club - Show Jumping and Eventing,

Amy Caldwell from Bribbaree Pony Club - Dressage, and

Tommie Parker from Harden Pony Cub – Eventing.

These riders started their Pony Club journeys as beginners, and with their families and supporters have worked hard to get to where they are now. They’ve become the kind of role models our younger riders look up to and show what you can achieve with dedication and hard work.

We couldn’t be prouder. It’s an incredible achievement. Good Luck, we will be cheering you on every stride of the way. 🌟🙌

📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – ODE POSTPONED, CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING DAY INSTEAD! 🐎

Due to the recent storm damage, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our One Day Event (ODE) to ensure the safety of our riders and horses. However, we’re excited to announce that in its place, we will be hosting a Cross Country Training Day! 🌟

📅 New Event: Cross Country Training Day
📍 Harden Pony Club Grounds
📆 Sunday, 23rd March 2025
🕘 Morning: Group lessons around the XC course (based on card grading level)
🚶 Midday: Full course walk as a group
🏇 Afternoon: Ride the full XC course as a training run

✨ Grades: A, B, C, D (65cm), E (50cm), Introductory
👧 Open to Junior & Associate Riders (Under 26 years old)

📌 Entries close: 5pm, Wednesday 19th March 2025

💰 Entry Fees:
🐴 XC Lesson & Training Round – $30 per horse (Non-HPC members, Pony Club card required)
🏕 Camping – $30 per night per family of 4 (+$5 per extra person)
🏡 Stabling – $15 per night per horse

No refunds after the closing date.

Grenfell PC have some instructors coming to thetr rally day next Sunday and definitely have room for some more riders.
We will most likely be done by lunchtime.

All independent Zone 2 Riding members aged 26 & under are welcome and encouraged to attend for a fun day of learning, grading and making friends across our Zone.
