Together with Cornerstone Pet Crematorium, we offer Tasmania’s first and only complete horse cremation service. Our teams are passionate about being able to provide a dignified equine cremation service here in Tasmania. 🐴🧡

Our service includes the transfer from your property to our facility using our specialised float, ensuring your beloved horse is treated with care and respect during every stage of their final journey.

Though we do work through your local vetinary clinic, Cornerstone Pet Crematorium is open to the public. 👐

Whether you want to bring your pet to us directly once they pass away or you would rather pick up their ashes from us, you are always welcome at our facilities. 💖

Those who choose to come direct to us also have the option to use our goodbye room - a quiet space for that final goodbye to help bring some closure during a very difficult time. 🕊

We know making decisions after losing a pet is hard. 💔 That’s why we’ve carefully curated a collection of pet cremation packages for you. 💝

You can chose if you’d like a remembrance candle, the option to scatter your pets ashes, or retain their remains in a selection of urns or handcrafted timber boxes.

Each package contains a cremation certificate, paw print and fur clipping display card, so you have various memorial keepsakes of your beloved friends. 🐾

Here at Cornerstone, we believe that cremation is the final act in honouring the lives of our family members (human and pet alike). In history, fire based cremation has taken place as far back as records go, it is in essence a tradition as old as humanity itself.

Many of us will say goodbye to our beloved pets at the vet. 🐾 This is why we work closely with Veterinary Clinics.

For those wishing to have their pet cremated, you need only tell your local vet. The vet clinic will contact us directly, and with your permission, they can arrange the cremation for you. 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️

We will then return your pet’s ashes to your clinic and they will contact you to pick up their ashes from them. You can also request to collect your pet’s ashes from us directly, just let your vet know if this is what you’d prefer.

We know this is a difficult time for you, so we have endeavoured to make this process as easy as possible on you and your family. 💛

Losing your pet in any way is hard, and having a pet run away can be very distressing. That’s why we’re celebrating National ID Your Pet Day. 💖

Making sure your pet is microchipped increases the likelihood of them finding their way home if they are lost. 🐾

Microchipping is mandatory for cats and dogs, but it’s a great idea for other pets too (when possible). Scanning for a microchip will be the first thing vets and shelters check when looking to identify a lost pet. 🔍

This is also a friendly reminder to make sure your pet’s microchip data is up-to-date. If you’ve moved 🏡 or changed your number 📱, make sure to have the contact details updated.
