Well, that’s another Torbanlea Races done and dusted!
We travelled down with our two Maiden horses and honestly, as all owners and trainers feel with the young ones... you hope and pray, but you're never really sure what to expect from them. Both Blazen Jet and Georgie Boy came 3rd in their heats, which got them through to the final. Our goal for the day 🙌
With two in the final, we needed two jockeys... Charlie jumped on Blazen Jet and Steve threw a leg over Georgie Boy. The final was definitely going to be tough with some seasoned horses in there. Both of ours jumped out well seeing Blazen Jet sticking with them for probably the 200m, while Georgie Boy jumped well, the changing of his strides showed his inexperience.
We’re proud of how they handled themselves out there. Both have afew little things to work on, but that’s all part of the fun, right? 😉 To be better than last year 💪

We had an awesome crew helping behind the scenes and keeping camp interesting 😂 A huge shoutout to the Torbanlea Picnic Races for another top day.
