Hi everyone, I was wondering if you would be interested in some one hour short group training sessions instead of the full 6 weeks.
Maybe a top up of lessons already learnt?
For some reason Facebook has removed the poll option, but if you would like to add in a post what type of training you would like to do, I can sort something out. For example, would you like more training in:
Relaxed walking
Recall
Basic training.
Look forward to hearing from you all soon.🐾🐾

Dr. Dodds Says:
“… the thyroid and salivary glands are superficially located just under the skin in the upper part of the neck. The thyroid gland is a butterfly-shaped organ just in front of the larynx and trachea, and the mandibular salivary glands are found on the side of the face just below the ears. Thus, they can be easily injured by trauma and sudden pressure forces (as could occur from the slip ring and chain of metal collar, and a metal prong or hard braided leather collar). A harness or “gentle leader” type collar is preferred these days, especially for strong dogs that like to pull and lunge out when on a standard collar and leash.

Grass seeds have been out for the past couple of weeks.Check your dogs coat and paws. These small seeds can be at best painful itchy and annoying for your pet. I have seen them travel past skin layer into muscle layers and become infected. This can be life threatening. I have seen dogs have extensive surgery to remove them. One dog eventually having its leg removed .,Alll started with a humble grass seed.
If your dog is matted this is a serious risk, unless you have xray vision. It takes extreme care to remove matt's that are felted to the skin ,please be aware this process is different for your dog and blunts the blades of groomer. Yes it's common, groomers do alot of shave downs and it saves owners money but most owners don't like the look and groomers just feel sad doing them.
We actually loose money by going slowly and carefully for your pets comfort. This is why some groomers charge a dematting fee.
So to avoid ,check your dog for grass seeds after a walk.brush daily and if coat is not easy to comb take to groomer. Most dogs that don't shed need a clip every 6 -8 weeks .
