EMPEROR was emphatic at Randwick for Matty Dunn and Nash Rawiller! A WBF Breaking Graduate, he certainly looks set to fulfill the promise he showed early before some issues curtailed him.

Another Stakes win for the Magic mare. WBF Breaking Graduate MAGIC TIME won the Group 3 Nivison in emphatic fashion. Well done to Milburn Creek who deserve all the success and Grahame Begg and his team.

Cranbourne trainer Grahame Begg is hoping his talented mare and WBF Early Education Graduate, Magic Time, will this weekend earn her spot in the $2 million The Invitation. The 4-year-old will line up in the G3 The Nivison at Rosehill Gardens.

“When I was looking at a lot of these other mares, Atishu and those other horses, they’re not hanging around and running in 1400-metres,” Begg told Racing NSW news. “They’re going up in distance. There’s only a certain pool of mares around, so there was a good opportunity. Hopefully she might get an invitation to run in The Invitation. That’s why she’s up there.”

Magic Time is lightly raced with only five starts to her name, of which she has won three and been third. She was a winner in the Autumn of the G3 PJ Bell S. and she won the Listed Amanda Elliott last year.

Dundeel is now the only active Australasian sire of two c**ts, Militarize & Castelvecchio, that have won Group 1 races at both 2 and 3. Dundeel’s 7 elite winners have compiled 11 Group 1 wins from 1200 to 2500 metres.

STRAIT ACER pictured as a two-year-old before being sold at the Sale. Offered by WBF, he was purchased for $25,000.

The Headwater gelding has now won 11 times that amount in prizemoney and counting. Trained by Ed Cummings at Myrtle House, he is fresh off a hat-trick of wins in Sydney on a Saturday.

We love the way our craft is shaping up this year and can’t wait to present them at Riverside Stables.

Strait Acer is the second R2R grad winner in two days following Allapercanto’s win at Newcastle.
