He is BIG, BLACK and makes BEAUTIFUL BABIES.

He’s a novice campdraft horse from limited training and exposure to cattle, broken in, trained and campaigned by me (zero professional training). His progeny are super quiet with fronts to die for and are excelling in multiple disciplines, anyone can ride them!!

After having a break last year his books are now open for the 2026/27 breeding season. I’ll only take as many as I can handle, so it will be first in first served.

What a fantastic weekend!!!

JOPAHILL MISS BRANDY (the little engine that could) 2nd in the ladies.

KASPERS CAVALIA (aka G) back in form after being out having a foal with a 3rd in the maiden.

Both mares tried their guts out and made me look great as their jockey!!

It was very nostalgic heading back to the very grounds where I learnt to ride and the town I grew up in, made even more special to come away with some ribbons.

A huge thank you to Nimmitabel Campdraft for putting on such a great show, sponsors, cattle donors and all the folks who work tirelessly so we can come and compete.

A special shout out to Paul Varena for donating the halter Brandy won - fun fact - the Varena family bred our superstar pony 🤗

In response to rising fuel prices (and shortages)………

My business has never charged the following fees;

1. Travel
2. Consult fees (when horses don’t require treatment)

Unfortunately due to rising costs and an increasing number of horses being booked in to be “checked” I will be implementing a consult fee of $55 (including GST) for each horse checked and not treated, effective immediately.

Current treatment pricing is $110 per session, where treatment is not required it will be $55.

His dam is our gorgeous SELIGMAN SPIN mare PROUD TO BE A BLONDE. Sweet natured, cowy and quiet having only been to a couple of drafts she will continue her drafting career once the foal is weaned. I have high expectations as she was coming along nicely.

Due to a recent injury I will be stepping away from work temporarily and at this point the length of time off is still to be determined.

In the meantime, I will be putting my SCENAR tools to work and becoming my “own” case study to see just how efficiently they can support the healing process (I’m tipping I’ll halve the time)
