I would like to express a great big THANK YOU to Sam, the Management and suppliers of Strathbogie Ag in Violet Town for providing extensive amounts of product including medical, stock/domestic feeds and fencing products to me for distribution to a very grateful 'survivor' of the recent fires.

A friend of ours had her property affected by fire.
House and sheds saved by CFA and wind changes and unharmed thank Goodness.
Fences, cut and damaged, alot of her paddocks burnt. Unfortunately
Her fences were not covered by insurance.
I am supplying hay and sundries to get her through the next few weeks.

May I ask if anyone is considering financial donations that could possibly assist her in replacing fencing please reach out.

ANNOUNCEMENT
EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION

MERTON PARK was spared any direct Fire threat over the past few days. WE NOW OFFER HELP .. located Violet Town/Boho.
WE HAVE SEVERAL PADDOCKS available to provide short term agistment (no payment) and grounds for displaced families/persons to be able to camp (caravan/floats/tent) on our property. Admittedly limited dry summer feed but stability in the short term. Hygiene facilities available with communal kitchen in stables. Fridge, microwave, kettle, utensils etc.
Power avail in stable complex only.

This is only offered to those that have been directly effected and cannot return to their property. Stables available for DOG housing. They cannot be off leash.
