The Plot has always been about filling a perceived niche & encouraging the growth of parochial interest in local produce. It made its first debut in 2006, with the opening of an edible plants and wholefoods business in Canberra and has evolved with us ever since. Over recent years there has been a rapid growth in this style of business activity in our local area and the niche has become mainstream

. It has also allowed us a guilt free transition prioritising our efforts developing a sustainable urban flower farm.

Would you like to live rent free, 8kms down the road from the big blue?

Were offering fully self contained accommodation in exchange for a days work on our small acreage helping out with gardening & general labouring duties. The day a week can be split up however you like offering complete flexibility, with subsidised electricity, water & internet Included.

Great way to set yourself up on the NSW South Coast with plenty of paid work around.

Chambourcin grape vines; mature plant stock approximately 5 years old.
Excellent variety for coastal conditions. Medium to large flavoursome fruit traditionally used for wine making but also makes for a scrumptious dark table grape. Approx 30 + plants ready to plant now. $15 each. Prefer to sell job lot as need to make room for more flowers!

Were putting our gardens to bed this week with the very last of our blooms out for sale today in Flossie the flower cart.

Field growing means working in with and around the seasons and allowing the beds to rest. The work for us now however ramps right up as we clear beds, prep & cover rows, fix infrastructure and revamp for an even bigger and better season next spring!

Flowers dance to their own tune and while we were down at the Cobargo Folkie this weekend our flowers were having there very own festival. This leaves us with a cool room full of bunched blooms and an unexpected cart full for tomorrow.

The Plot made its first debut in 2006, with the opening of an edible plants and wholefoods business from the back of the Narrabundah shops in Canberra. After a 10-year hiatus chasing the sun in Perth, we are excited to be setting down roots again at our home in Bodalla! Our aim is simply to promote fresh LOCAL produce & products with zero food miles, using a community cooperative approach.
