We're a bit late announcing these two- back in December we welcomed a handsome boar, Rising Star Asante, and a beautiful sow, Rising Star Aloha.

Due to various commitments, these two may be our last litter for the foreseeable future, as we slow down here at Rising Star Cavy Stud. So, for now, it's asante (meaning thank you in Kiswahili) and aloha (goodbye) from us 😊

Meet Rising Star Fernando and his brother Rising Star Andante ❤ These two cuties were born in October to Rising Star Holly and Clovendell Mr Malteaser- we're excited to see how they turn out!

Aaaaaand we're back!

Since our last post, a lot has happened! We've had three litters of beautiful cavies, the most recent born today!

Our oldest litter was born on the 9th of July, with two males and two females. They're all looking for their homes now; we'd love our boys to go together.

The next litter is a single bub- a gorgeous little girl. She was born on the 9th of August, and is ready for her new home too.

Last Thursday our beautiful Rising Star Isilee welcomed two beautiful babies! She has one beautiful silver agouti and white sow, Rising Star Artemis, and one handsome cream agouti boar, Rising Star Apollo.

New bubs!! Our beautiful Bumbora Shari welcomed two stunning babies yesterday morning: a cream agouti and buff sow and a silver agouti boar.

In honour of the upcoming holidays we've decided to give these babies Christmas themed names!

We'll be choosing the names from suggestions in the comments section of this post; what do you think we should call these Christmas cavies?

The litter has one silver agouti boar (Rising Star Razo), two cream agouti boars (Rising Star Finn and Rising Star Jok), and one cream agouti sow (Rising Star Isilee).

Welcome to the world new bubs! Yesterday our beautiful Bumbora Shari had four stunning babies! The father is Rising Star Tenor. Mum and babies are all doing well, and after being pestered for photos are now enjoying a nice pile of grass.
