Shadow, we have had for about 2.5 years. He’s so quiet and friendly. We think he will just take to much to get him to the races as he’s a bit uncoordinated.
So I decided to ride him.
He’s a sweet natured quiet friendly horse.

Ben was purchased as a yearly by us.
He was given 4 preps and plenty of time to grow.
The decision was made that he’d be a better riding horse and he would take many years to fill out.

His owners absolutely love him and he has definitely converted them to SB’s.

He is a big quiet horse that wants to please.

13yrs don’t know a lot about him.

Saddled him and hoped on today.
1st ride and didn’t put a foot wrong.

Weanling available in a couple of weeks. Dam is extremely quiet and sensible riding mare recently sold. She was the type you pull out of the paddock every 6 months and have a safe horse to ride. Dam is 1/4 Clydie 1/4 WB 1/2 QH.
Sire is pure Clydesdale by Tullymore Sir William.
Sire was broken in at 5yr old, dead quiet and basically bomb proof from the first ride!

This guy will be a really nice horse, he will be more of a clumped type as he is more than half Clydie. He is currently a C**t.
Possibly mature around 16hh
Dam is just 15hh and Sire is Approx 17.2hh
I owned both Sire and dam! And broke both in.

Lightly handled atm, will be handled a lot more over the next few weeks.

Excited to have this friendly boy. Day one at home, needing a massive tidy up on his teeth. 8 yr old very successful SB gelding. Has been an absolute pleasure in every way. Good to catch float, have sat on him. Stood at the races at Wagga on Friday when I picked him up. Biting flies everywhere and he was so well behaved. Cannot wait to get him under saddle. Have one person in line, but will be available in the new year!
Will be decent money on him. I will not sell these nice, safe horses cheap. To ensure the best future for them they need to have value and money spent on them so they don’t just sit in a paddock with the idea of getting to them one day!

In my very limited spare time, I am re-educating a few ex-race horses. Mostly SB’s but the occasional Tb. I also have the occasional other breed horse available. I will also be sharing advertisements of client horses available from my dentistry business.
I have definitely been converted, I have been riding several SB horses in the last few years and find the majority of them to be extremely safe and hassle free horses.
With return clients asking me for more horses, I have decided to try get a few more horses going under saddle.
