✨ Some patients just light up the whole hospital ✨

Phoebe came into Leslie Street Veterinary Clinic yesterday feeling a little under the weather with some diarrhoea… but you’d never know it from her attitude 😂💕

This beautiful girl came in literally dancing with joy, showing off all of her tricks and making every single staff member smile along the way. Her mum and family absolutely adore her, and it’s easy to see why, she is such a clever, happy little soul 🐾

Even when she wasn’t feeling 100%, Phoebe still wanted to spread happiness to everyone around her 🥹

Check out the comments for the video of Phoebe showing us her moves 💃🐶

Feel better soon, sweet girl! We loved seeing your bright personality today ❤️

The other day we had the absolute pleasure of meeting a very special little patient 🐰✨

This gorgeous bunny, Magical, came in to see us for a wound on her paw, and we’re so happy to say she’s doing really well! 💛

Dr Matilda absolutely adored treating him, and honestly, the whole visit felt a little bit magical (very fitting for her name!). From her sweet nature to her calm little personality, she completely won over our team.

And to make the visit even more memorable… Magical arrived in style, being transported in her very own stroller! 🛒🐾 Safe, comfy, and quite possibly the cutest arrival we’ve seen in a while.

We love seeing how much care and love our clients put into their pets, it truly makes our job so special.

Keep healing beautifully, Magical 💫

🐾 Puppy Cuteness Overload Alert! 🐾

We had the absolute pleasure of seeing Akira and Misu today for their second vaccinations, and safe to say, they completely stole our hearts 💕

These two little legends were not only incredibly cute but also so brave and well-behaved throughout their visit. It’s always such a special moment watching puppies grow and take those important steps to staying healthy and protected.

We can’t wait to watch you both continue to grow, learn, and keep spreading joy wherever you go 🐶✨

Thank you to their lovely family for trusting us with their care 💙

🐣🌸 Happy Easter from all of us at Brisbane Water Veterinary Hospital! 🐾

We hope you and your families (two-legged and four-legged!) have a beautiful, relaxing long weekend filled with love, chocolate… and plenty of cuddles 🐶🐱

While Easter is a wonderful time to celebrate, it can also come with some hidden dangers for our pets:

🍫 Chocolate: toxic and can cause serious illness
🍇 Grapes & raisins: can lead to sudden kidney failure
🍬 Sugar-free treats (xylitol): extremely dangerous
🧺 Easter grass & decorations: risk of gut blockages
🍗 Cooked bones: can splinter and cause injury

💛 Our tip: keep all treats safely out of reach and remind visitors not to share food with your pets.

⏰ We are open tomorrow from 9am–2pm for your convenience
🚫 Closed Easter Monday

🚨 If your pet gets into something they shouldn’t, please seek veterinary care immediately or contact your nearest emergency hospital.

🐶 The best Easter gift? A safe, happy, and healthy pet. 🐱

🐾 Meet Khan, our very special visitor! 🐾

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Khan, an 8-week-old Rottweiler who came into Leslie Street for his first vaccination and microchip.

From the moment he walked through the door, Khan completely stole our hearts. Despite being such a young pup, he was incredibly gentle, calm and sweet, happily soaking up all the cuddles from our team.

It’s always such a special moment seeing puppies at their very first visit, the beginning of a lifetime of adventures, love, and wagging tails. Khan handled his vaccination like a very brave boy and enjoyed plenty of pats afterwards.

We can’t wait to watch this handsome little man grow. Something tells us he’s going to be a very big boy with an even bigger heart. ❤️

🐔 Meet Beatrice!

We had the lovely Beatrice the chicken visit us at Brisbane Water Veterinary Hospital for a Suprelorin implant.

Many people don’t realise that backyard hens can sometimes develop hormonal issues related to egg production. When this happens, hens can suffer from problems such as reproductive disease, egg binding, or chronic laying. A Suprelorin implant is a safe and commonly used treatment that helps temporarily switch off the reproductive hormones, giving the body a much-needed rest.

For Beatrice, this means helping keep her comfortable, healthy, and enjoying life scratching around the backyard instead of putting stress on her little body producing eggs.

She was an absolute sweetheart during her visit, calmly accepting plenty of cuddles from the team and reminding us why we love seeing our feathered patients just as much as our furry ones. 💛

If you have backyard chickens showing signs of reproductive issues, egg laying problems, or repeated egg binding, our team is always happy to help guide you through treatment options.

🐾 Bonnie’s Ear Recheck Visit 🐾

We had the absolute pleasure of seeing this beautiful golden girl Bonnie back at the clinic for her ear recheck recently.

Bonnie was an absolute sweetheart during her visit and took everything in her stride. While we were checking her ears, it quickly became clear that she’s also a very curious little lady! 😄 She spent plenty of time investigating the room, saying hello, and making sure she received all the scratches and cuddles she deserved.

Golden Retrievers are known for their loving nature, and Bonnie certainly lived up to the reputation. She was gentle, affectionate, and made the whole team smile during her visit.

We’re always so happy to see our patients doing well at their rechecks and Bonnie definitely made our day a little brighter. 💛

Thank you for visiting us Bonnie!
