🖤🤍🖤 Ghost and Marshmallow 🖤🤍🖤

Ghost was the first bull birthed on our farm. He's now passed his 4th birthday earlier this month. In those 4 years, he's taught us a lot and never missed a chance to be brushed.

Marshmallow not only looks like Ghost, they are inseparable. Eating, playing and taking naps together. Just like her parents, Marshmallow is growing up to be a very gentle and curious girl.

The Lowline and Hereford breeds have a lot to offer - the black "Baldy" is a mix of the two breeds. There's plenty of favourable traits that come along with these adorable cows (not just the white face!).

We took a much needed breather on Saturday 15th August. Our day was still filled with chickens as we went to Wagin for the WA Game Foul and Australorp Show.

The game birds were all very bright and well presented. Our favourite part of the show was (of course) the Australorps. Both the standard size and bantams were on display. The bantams certainly won us over.

Speaking with some of the judges and entrants, there was great deal of pride and devotion in both breeding and showing. The hard work and dedication couldn't be missed when seeing the birds on show!

To give your incubator the highest chance of success, we carefully hand-select only the best.

What we choose:
✅ ️Naturally clean, fresh eggs with strong, smooth shells.
✅ ️Normal symmetrical shapes, that are a standard size and color for the breed.

What we avoid:
❌️ Imperfect shapes and textures (oval, misshapen, wrinkled, or corrugated shells)
❌️ Damaged or dirty shells, including cracked, porous, thin, old, or soiled eggs.

Because a healthier egg means a healthier chick! 🐥

What he lacks in sheer mass, he fully makes up for in dramatic feathering and pure, unfiltered confidence.
