The little bugs are now 8 weeks old and starting to leave for new adventures with their forever families. Individual updates and photos to come. I can’t wait to see them spread their wings and take flight into the big world.🖤

At a very respectable hour this morning we welcomed 5 little Love Bugs into the world - 4 boys & 1 girl 💙💙💙💙🩷
All are wolf sable in colour.
Ariana, is doing a fantastic job and really is such a good mum. So proud of her!
🐜 The Bugs are all healthy & doing well so far.

🐛 Taking cute name suggestions if anyone has any ideas for the theme of bugs/beetle/insects (especially boy names) 🦟

We have a few more boys than expected, and taking expressions of interest to find their forever families 🏠🤎

A very happy day as a Breeder!
💥 Gromit - Deerlane Light the Fuse Gromit N.SPD*💥 achieved his final pass needed for his Sprint Dog novice title 🏆 He’s the 1st Finnish Lapphund in Qld to achieve this title, & only the 3rd Australia wide.

This is the first ANKC title on a Deerlane bred dog & I couldn’t be more proud. He has a great future ahead competing in a number sports and conformation shows. Go Gromit Go!

So proud of our sporty gal Ari. She ran her heart out and received another 2x pass runs at the Whippet Club Lure Coursing Trial on Sunday 🏆 Even earning herself a pretty ribbon!

This boy is so much like his parents; slow to mature but very sound, with a sweet temperament & a passion for sports/parkour 🤣 Thank you to the Gill family for loving this boy and believing in him as much as I do.

WOW! 🤩 A great opportunity to meet some Lapphunds and breeders/owners this week 6th - 9th June at the DogsQld Grounds at Durack. 🐕🥇(We’ll be there all weekend with Ollivander)

A fantastic entry this weekend for Yuggera Canine Club conformation shows. Including a special “FCI” international show 🏆
7 entered Thurs (day time)
7 Friday (night)
10 Saturday (FCI show, arvo/night)
8 Sunday (day time)

These shows have over 700 dogs entered of all breeds! 😱 Theres judges from all over the world including Luxembourg, Uruguay, Canada, Finland, USA, Iceland, North Macedonia & Australia. 🌎 Who will be crowned Best in Show?! (A Lappie we hope!)

🪄 Ch Lumottu Jolteon - Ollivander 💫
After 9 months off from shows we jumped back into things with some cluster show weekends.

Safe to say Olli hadn’t forgot what nuggets were and how to Bork his way around the ring - achieving 7 Best of Breeds from 9 shows.
Our higlights included:

✨Tweed Valley KC Cluster - Runner up Best in Group (BIG2) and Best of Breed at all 3 shows.

✨Working Dog Club of Qld Championship Show- Best of Breed (13pts)

OMG this makes my heart as a breeder SO happy.
Luna lives in Canada 🇨🇦 and is living her best Lapphund life in the first big snow dump of the year. ❄️

Luna is also known as “Deerlane Bee Fawning in Love” from our Bees litter (Ariana x Ukko).
She was the tiniest puppy I’ve had born at Deerlane and needed intensive care for her first few weeks of life. These beautiful moments are exactly why I pour my heart and soul into my puppies. 🩵
