Due to a high amount of requests for horse agistment recently. I need to advise that as of this Easter 2021.
My horse agistment centre will no longer be in operation.
I am keeping on 2 current agistees and my own horses but nobody else.
After over 12 months of council crap, we have finally got through the approval to turn the agistment centre into a Equine Vet Clinic and are working in collaboration with Vets to build a new Clinic, Office and Pharmacy building.
The stables and paddocks will see a huge makeover and be transformed into a artificial insemination ( Equine AI ) facility.
There will also be mares foaling down ( due to foal, and need to be under constant observation).
There may also be horses and ponies that may need daily treatment ie bandages changed, injections etc.
To end speculation,
There will be NO infectious diseased horses on the premises at anytime. I can not highlight this enough.
The Vets and the staff are mobile so will travel to these types of medical cases when required.
I would really like to take this opportunity to thank all my past and present agistees.
I can honestly say I have enjoyed having each and everyone of you here. I appreciate the effort each of you has made to be so amazing and look after everything so perfectly.
There was also a lot of new friendships made which was fantastic.
The major appreciation I would like to say is Thankyou most of all for entrusting me to look after your horses and ponies.
I've always loved looking after horses and ponies since my part time job after school as a groom. Then leaving school and becoming a full time groom.
So I have really loved running this agistment centre and caring for all different types of horses and ponies.
However, you do move on when you have the opportunity to move onto better things and I believe that is what I am doing. The Vet Clinic is a long term plan and its our goal to build a outstanding facility. So with this upgrade and the fact that the place will be busy with builders and machinery etc. I dont feel it is right to have to many horses here at this time.
Therefore, I have reached the decision to terminate the agistment centre and I apologise to any prospective agistees for any inconvenience I am very happy to recommend a number of other excellent agistment facilities in the local area.
Thankyou.
